I have stayed in multiple candlewood hotels and never had this experience.. we arrived at 10 pm and our room was so Hot! I went to the front desk and asked for a fan and told them our room was so hot and we could not get it cooled off…. They did not have a fan nor did they offer to move us. We tried to sleep in there and possibly slept for 3 hours. Worst experience ever with candlewood. Very disappointed. I will compliment every time when it a good but this was possibly the worst. Miserable trip.

This is the worst experience I had for a conference. Nasty and then people was walking around in lobby with no shoes and stuff. I’m like how professional is this place.

IHG hotels are our norm, but this stay was so disappointing and disturbing I almost checked out after checking in. However, we checked in so late (around midnight), we figured we would just deal with it for the next 6-8 hours and be on our way. The room did not 'feel' clean since there was an immediate smell as you walk into the room. We had two dogs with us and they also hesitated from being on the floor. The hotel is a little older, so there are some things one expects, like old carpet and old furnishings; however, the longer we remained in the room, it became clear that the smell was urine and smoke. It made the room feel even grungier than it looked. No hand soap in the bathroom. We went to the desk to find the attendant and another guest was there trying to get soap as well. We waited for about 10 minutes for the attendant to get soap and ended up just getting some we had in our car. I went to the courtesy cupboard to get coffee and the machine was dirty, to include the spout where the coffee is dispensed. Needless to say, I purchased a bottled water and left the coffee alone. We left early. Truly truly disappointed.

Friendly staff, always accommodating and nice safe place to stay. I always stay here when I’m in town
