    Hotel was close to Hersheypark. Very nice to be able to make breakfast in the morning. No free breakfast ofered here. Cofree and tea available free. Also laundry no charge this was a nice surprise with wet clothing and towels from water patk. Room for most part clean. Beds good to sleep in.

    Overall, the experience at the hotel was nice. It was very easy to get to Hershey park from the hotel and did not take very long. Bed were fairly comfortable and room was clean. The staff seemed very nice and polite. The only problem I experienced was that I book 2 rooms for my group and the rooms were no where near each other despite the fact that I booked them together at the same time. One of the guest on the trip has epilepsy and so its important for people to be near her if she has a seizure. Despite that the hotel was not able to give us rooms near each other they were not even on the same floor. I would recommend telling hotel you need rooms located close together when booking.

    Tired and very dissappointed!

    I have stayed at a few different Candlewood suites over the past 8 months and had not been disappointed in any way until this stay at this location. The building looks relatively new and looked great upon entering the lobby. The first thing that bothered me and was really gross was when I entered the room and went into the bathroom. Someone had "spat" in the toilet bowl and didn't flush it! I was tempted to leave the building right then and there, but because everything in the area was on the expensive side and I had to stay within my per diem I remained. In my stay preferences I always ask to be placed on an upper floor away from vending and elevators, #noise in general#. I was given a room on the first floor opposite a room that had a tenant#s# with constant in and out activity from the time I arrived. I think they some kind of party going on in there as I saw people carrying food in and out? They left the metal door security latch out to keep the door from fully closing and locking so they #what appeared like everyone in the building# could come and go. Every time someone would enter or leave the room the automatic door closer would slam the door against the metal door latch and make a loud banging noise. At 11:30 I finally had enough and called the desk to complain.The clerk there said she would go ask them to cease the noise because they were disturbing guests #me#. The disturbances ended for about 15 minutes then resumed and didn't stop until sometime after 12:30. I removed my shoes about an hour before retiring to bed and the next morning when I went to take a shower found my feet were really filthy from the carpet and the door activity across the hall resumed at 6:30. I made another complaint when I checked out and was told the clerk at the front desk #the same one that I called at 11:30# that she would notify the manager and they would probably give me some extra rewards and make an adjustment on my bill. I saw a 10% reduction and they added about 200 additional Welcome Points to my rewards account! What exactly is proper adjustment for only getting about 5 hours of sleep in a room with a very dirty floor and with housekeeping people that leave gross things in the bathroom, probably just find another place to stay?
