    Spacious room and QUIET :-)

    Extremely accommodating rooms, with all of the amenities ever needed. Basically, it was a home away from home. I need my sleep and this rated highest on my scale of quiet suites. The bed and pillows were to my satisfaction- which is rare.
    I would recommend Candlewood Suites to all.
    The price was surprisingly low as well, which added to the overall satisfaction with this stay.

    Candlewood Suites Indianapolis Downtown Medical District Hotel is simply one of the most comfortable hotels I have ever stayed in. The suite was amazingly large including a full kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bath. The place is impeccably clean and modern. Although the property can be deceptive from the outside because it is not a new facility, once inside, everything is wonderful. One thing that was really important to me is the windows open, which made for pleasant sleeping. The area is also so quiet, you would not know other guests are in nearby rooms. As for the staff, they could not be more helpful or accommodating. When my coffeemaker broke while I was using it, another one was delivered to my room in less than 5 minutes. The daily newspaper is available in the lobby, and there is a small store in the lobby where basics can be purchased. The Candlewood has a shuttle service that runs on the hour, and the shuttle drivers could not have been nicer.

    Favorite place to stay

    We love this hotel. It is nice to have a separate room in case one of us wants to get up early, or stay up late-it doesn't affect the other one's sleeping. It really feels like home... but a home where we don't have any chores. My husband is a clean freak and always cleans a hotel room when we check in, and this room was by FAR, the cleanest room we have ever stayed in. Super impressive. We won't stay anywhere else. 5 stars!

    I was in town for a hospital stay for my sister. The shuttle made it very convenient to travel to and from the hospital. It was comforting to know I could stay late with her and be safe getting back to the hotel.

    I arrived around 11 p.m. after a long day on the road. My debit card was declined (unbeknown to me, it had been compromised, and the bank had put a hold on it), so I offered to pay cash for the first night but was told I would have to pay for all three nights up front. (I had anticipated calling the bank in the morning and straightening out the problem.) When I returned with cash, the clerk informed me, "We don't usually take cash this late at night, but the manager made an exception." It was not a major deal, but the comment did not reflect much of a welcome.

    Exceptional Staff at Candlewood

    My husband and I lived there for several months while he was waiting for a lung transplant. Dwayne Roberts and his staff made us feel at home and made sure we had everything we needed before and after his transplant. The pictures are while he was in hospital after his transplant and the other is in our room at Candlewood Suites after his complete recovery. Thank you for employing such an exceptional staff because you never know what someone is facing in their life and it helps when people go out of their way to show they care and you definitely have that at Candlewood Suites in Indianapolis in the medical district. We love it there.
