Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by WONDERFUL CLEAN HOTEL PRICED GREAT this hotel was great! it was clean, the rooms were big and roomy and had everything. the staff was friendly. we arrived late and they had it set up that we could still check in after the front desk closes. very nice. ended up staying two nights, since it was so nice. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Resource during move We stayed in a Knoxville, TN facility as we awaited our moving van and during the first few days of unpacking. The comfortable and convenient suite and the amenities provided made it possible for us to relax and decompress during the chaos of converting the contents of large brown boxed to livable space in our new apartment. The on-site laundry facilities were a significant help. The staff with whom we interacted were helpful and friendly, The ability to prepare light meals in the room is great. Dave . July 5, 2014

CHAIRS COMING APART, CARPET LOOKED WET BUT WAS NOT IN A NUMBER OF SPOTS, LOVED HAVING TV INANOTHER ROOM, LET ME SLEEP WIFE COULD WATCH TV, DID NOT HAVE ICE MACHINE ON PREMISE, MISSED THAT, bed way to soft, back hurt next morning July 2, 2014

We did have a few cobwebs over the bed which I overlooked and we could hear a dog barking occasionally which I overlooked. One thing that bothered me was the feeling that the building was shaking when someone walked in the room or the hall. But these things were minor and we did enjoy our stay. June 30, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not Business Travel Friendly Very quite location, nice rooms and staff. I was a bit taken back when I arrived to find out they do not have a business center nor a pool. Partially my fault for not ready the amenities but I didn't even realize there were hotels without business centers. I went down stairs the next day for coffee for the following morning to find out I can purchase additional coffee for 50 cents a package. On the final day between 7 and 7:30a the Sales manager calls and mentions "I know you are getting ready for your busy day and checkout, but how was your stay with us?" Normally I would find this very thoughtful and good customer service, she began asking question after question after question...finally I said ma'am I don't mean to be rude...but I have to finish packing and get to my client...she kept on a bit but finally hung up. My suggestion...don't call first thing in the morning on checkout day...people are rushed and trying to get on the road. Also, I recommend additional lighting on the side of the hotel where the gazebo is...it is open to a neighborhood very dark and not very safe. I personally prefer a more visitor/business friendly facility. June 25, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very, very nice accommodations. We very much enjoyed our stay at Candlewood Suites. It's a great value for families on a limited budget. We do however believe the maids should check with the desk to ensure the customer has really departed the room on their last morning before entering the room to clean it. We requested no maid service which was honored except on our last morning when we had gone to breakfast returned to the room around 10:45 am to remove our luggage before noon check out and discovered the maid had entered the room. None of our things had been disturbed but we did feel that folks might be a little anxious for us to check out. The incident wouldn't discourage us from staying at Candlewood again. All in all we so enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much. June 25, 2014
