None of the outlets worked in our room. Which meant our room phone didn’t work and the lights near the bed didn’t work. It was SO loud that we couldn’t sleep - the room was on the first floor next to the exit door closest to the parking garage. The door slammed shut all hours of the day. Our AC was not working properly and often read 2-3° higher than the set temperature. The air would not turn on and we were unable to adjust the setting any lower than 68°.
The day we checked in we asked for our room to be switched and were told the hotel was fully booked even though rooms could still be booked online. The night was so miserable that we decided to check out the next morning instead of staying a second night. The hotel staff refused to allow us to check out. I spent hours on the phone over the course of two days trying to resolve it. It’s been a week and I still have not received a receipt for our stay and we were charged for a night + fees for a day we didn’t stay in the room. This was the worst experience we’ve ever had at an IHG hotel. The manager has yet to reach out to us. I sent an email requesting the receipt but no response. Stay far far away from this hotel.
