Michigan State University (MSU) establishes and operates the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB) as a user facility for the Office of Nuclear Physics in the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Science (DOE-SC). FRIB will enable scientists to make discoveries about the properties of rare isotopes (that is, short-lived nuclei not normally found on Earth), nuclear astrophysics, fundamental interactions, and applications for society, including in medicine, homeland security, and industry. Located on MSU campus and only 2.9 miles from the FRIB facility, the Candlewood Suites offers preferred pricing for visiting scientists, educators and researchers visiting the FRIB facility. We look forward to welcoming you as our guest!
