Disappointing Experience

Twice, at 11pm and 1145pm, the smoke detector went off in the room. When we checked it, it came out of the ceiling but kept going off. I brought it to the front desk but at no point in our stay was it checked/replaced. The night staff seemed like she had a difficult time getting out of the chair to check on us when we approached to let them know the exterior doors weren't opening with our key. Also the room air conditioner was set very high upon arrival which caused the room to be humid and musty smelling. Additionally, my wife forgot her airpods in the room and despite the fact that findmyiphone shows them at the hotel, no one seems to have come across them.

The room was comfortable and the kitchen was convenient. However most of the washers and dryers were always out of order, we found at least one roach in our room more days than not, and I was told I had to pay $10 per hour for a late checkout, even though I’m an IHG Gold member (this is against IHG policy).
