    Where ever I go I always stay at Candlewoods because of the cleanliness and the amazing staff. I always get greeted as a rewards member and always treated well. Upon arrival I called ahead to tell them we would be a late arrival. I have done this in the past and have never had a problem. When I called I was told this wasn't allowed and I would be charged for this. Being a Gold Elite member and having to stay at hotels quiet a bit this year I know that I can have a late check in and a late check out. The stay after this problem was great. The rooms are always clean and the staff the next morning was great. Just not a good first impression.

    It was great to have a recliner in our room.
    The TV and kitchen sink needed service but the staff quickly took care of both problems.
    All rooms were nonsmoking but our room smelled of stale tobacco smoke.
    Overall we truly enjoyed our stay.
