Stayed for a funeral was very peaceful and quiet

Can definitely tell hotel is older but it was a quiet calming atmosphere. Hallway is dark , hallway carpet’s could use being cleaned or replaced but the room was definitively satisfactory and well supplied and clean.

my husband and i loved the layout of the room. we had our own bedroom and our girls hung out in the living area. the bathroom is in the perfect location. we all really enjoyed our stay!!

Convenient access to the interstate. Plenty of shopping and restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. The hotel is back behind another hotel but plenty of parking.

Smelly and dirty

We had a need to get a hotel at the last minute, so went with this one, knowing that we had stayed at plenty of other Candlewoods and generally found them all to be a decent hotel. This one was far from that, first room they gave us smelled like cigarette smoke and was supposed to be a Non smoking room, second room definitely had an off odor to it, but decided to not bother going back to front desk for yet another room as it was already so late (2am) and we were exhausted. Overall the room was genuinely very disappointing. Didn't sleep well, bathroom floor tiles were cracked, everything was dirty and dusty, soap bar from previous guest left in shower, floor wasn't vacuumed (even found a toenail clipping on the floor), carpets and chair in need of a serious shampooing.
