We were here in Nov 2016 for a convention and returned this year in Oct. The convention in Nov re-booked for Oct. We loved staying here in Nov that I requested the same room for our stay in Oct. I
will be doing the same coming up for next year but hopefully staying a full week rather than just 5 days.
This is a fabulous location and the facility and staff are all very accommodating to all needs and requests. From the Bell hops to the cleaning staff, front desk to bar keeps - I never got anything but help and friendliness.
1. Day shift needs to communicate better with the night shift - we requested a mini-fridge for our room (which we never received or heard from anyone why - but not charged) The night shift told me it would be $40 for the whole stay and the day shift said $25. Figure it out people big difference is cost. Is some one pocketing that difference?
2. NOT enough of the mini-fridges for everyone who wanted one. So my suggestion and recommendation is get one for EACH OF THE ROOMS I'm sure there is a way and buying in bulk the charge wont be bad and we know that the company as a whole can make that up almost over night. Same goes for having microwaves. There are so many wonderful restaurants around and places to eat and to go boxes when you can't eat it all a fridge would have been helpful for the entire muffuletta I had to throw away because I had no way of keeping it.
We love this place and the convention staff plan on making this our permanent Con place every October now. [Less]
