As my son and family live in Haifa, we use to stop at Crowne Plaza every visit we pay them.
This time, we found some unexpected issues, that made us lower the usual rating we use to give the hotel.
At our arrival, the usual access to the hotel entrance was closed. Security peolpe, both at the gate as at the hotel door, were unable to tell us how to reach te hotel from another entrance.
Front desk staff was not sure about how to manage different questions or issues we requested to solve. Everything had to go trhough at least two other people. In some case, the bartender of the night shift was more helpful with one of our requests than the front desk staff.
At arrival, they did not recognize my IHG Reward club membership. I had to remember the employee she had forgotten something at check in.
At check out (both arrival and check out during the night) a couple of questions I asked received no answer or, if so, after some doubt and discussion with other staff members.
As not everything was bad, I have to say we had a very pleasant experience at the restaurant, and the room was excellent.
