We arrived Lima from Cusco at noon and stayed here for half day to connect our midnight flight (1am) back to Toronto. The room was clean and nice. Staff was nice and friendly. However, we had some
trouble to get to the hotel from airport, though it's an airport hotel.
From Google map, it shows only 300m far from airport main building. We can see the hotel from the airport and we thought we could walk to the hotel. However, it's not easy with all luggage. You need to cross the parking lot and walk through the pedestrian bridge (no elevator) to get there. In the end, we decided to take taxi for this shortest drive ever and the driver tried to charge us for US $10. We didn't know there was a free shuttle until we arrived the hotel. Front desk told me that they usually email or phone the clients before arriving to give them the shuttle info, but I never received it. Front desk said it's because they don't have my email or phone contact in the booking. This can't be true. I've been IHG member for years and the booking was booked on Holiday Inn website directly. Membership number was on the booking. Why couldn't they reach me for shuttle information?
