Comfortable, clean, well-equipped hotel, with high end bedding, high quality building materials and interesting design. Guest room was perfect in every way. Complimentary snacks in the mini bar added
a nice touch to our stay.
The restaurant, unfortunately, spoils this impression.
With it's vinyl chairs and paper menus it looks drab compared to the bright and cheery hotel. The breakfast is sufficient, but the choice and quality of food is somewhat limited.
But the dinner was really bad. Starting with very slow service in the nearly empty restaurant, condescending attitude of the waiters, and ending with small, hard, bland meatballs, both the meat and the fish ones. Cheeseballs from the starter menu were heavy and soggy, dripping with oil. The Yorkshire pud was rock hard and burned. I think this restaurant takes a lot of charm away from the Indigo hotel. [Less]
