Perfect and Relaxing
By KTWNK1D
I stayed at this hotel, because I was taking final exams down the street at Thomas Jefferson School of Law. My mother accompanied me and all we could say was wow. This hotel destroyed expectations -- [More] in a good way. I was in a great state of stress, but the hotel's accommodations really helped make the time I was there enjoyable and relaxing. This is a great place to stay. [Less]
Short Stay for a conference
By Jean
Stay here for a conference. The hotel was very nice and clean. The bed is comfortable and the restaurant downstairs offer good food. The staff was also very helpful and nice. One small thing during [More] my stay was about the late-check out. I called several times to request for late check out but I was told I can not put down the request until I checked in. As I checked in, I asked again but was told that I have to wait until the day that I check out to ask for a late check out. I thought as a IHG member , I can check out at 2 pm , but on the day of the check out, they informed me that I can check out at 1 pm. No big deals, but I wished they could inform me earlier so it would be easier to make plans. [Less]

Very nice staff. Good social environment. Beautiful area close to shopping and recreation [Less]
Great service
By Hemi-guy
Had an excellent time with all of the employees other than the main food organizer (an older gentleman, but I forget his name). Not sure what the issue is as he seemed quite friendly towards others [More] but was consistantly grouchy towards me which I found to be sort of amuzing so it didn't really bother me, but it could perhaps bother someone else. Spacious, newly-renovated guest room
By willing76
I haven't stayed at a Holiday Inn Express in a long time. I was decently surprised during my first return visit. Although this property is still currently under renovations, I received a very [More] spacious newly-renovated room with a large balcony! Too bad I was not staying longer. The location is decent, and I can see the value with staying here. If you are looking for a solid budget hotel, this is a good choice! [Less]

spacious, clean, new
By onglihuey
Just a stone throw away from he San Diego Symphony Hall, it has a nice distance away from the hustle and bustle but near enough to just walk down to the centre. Room was amazingly spacious and [More] clean and new. Hotel has home bake cookies after 7pm, which is very yummy. Especially after a long day out. Breakfast was good with an array of choice: cheese omelet/ diced capsicum omelet/ scrambled egg, turkey/pork patti with sausage sauce, muffins, danishes, cinnamon bons, freshly made pancakes, cereal, bread, toaster, oats, yogurt, low/ non fat milk, teas, coffee. Although there is no gym but you can just run outdoors with its beautiful weather. Staffs were amazing, friendly and helpful. [Less]
