Attentive and welcoming service

The attention to detail of the hotel staff made our stay that little bit more special. We realise it is nothing more than a strange coincidence but the outside wall of our room even displayed our initials !

Great Location, Spotty Customer Service

I spent a 3-day weekend here on business. The location is perfect; you're close to the Blackfriars & Waterloo Bridges, Victoria Embankment, Westminster, and St. Paul's Cathedral. You can grab any red bus mere steps from the hotel. The lobby was quite nice with 2 on-site restaurants - Chinese & Italian - for the nights you prefer to eat in. My only complaint was the Internet which did not work and the clever desk outlet system which also would not work. I called the front desk several times about the situation and they referred me to the 24/7 help desk. They couldn't help either which meant that I was without Internet access and desk power for 24 hours. That's inexcusable for a business hotel. To their credit, the hotel did eventually purchase an EE external wireless dongle which provided lightning fast Internet access for the next 2 days. Overall, I recommend this hotel for the location, but I'd be very proactive about making sure the hotel Internet works properly.

This hotel is in a great location for exploring London. It is opposite Blackfriars Station and within 100yds of Blackfriars Bridge across The River Thames.
This is a top grade hotel which we will return to on our next visit to London

Filthy rooms, poor wifi- was told if wanted better wifi to purchase- lady was very rude. Air conditioner didn't work, they did send someone to change filter which was clogged but diidnr help. Rooms were not refurbished at all

Ótimo hotel. Em minha outra viagem a Londres havia ficado em outro Crowne. E não me arrependi.
Localizado em uma área ótima. Perto de bons restaurantes e da estação e Metro e Trem.
Funcionários prestativos.
Concierge Fari ótimo.

We stayed at this hotel for our 20th anniversary. Pace and his team did an outstanding job in making our stay memorable including a surprise welcome gift in our room upon check in with a personal note from Pace. The staff were super friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome

The hotel was well located to The City, right across the road from Black Friars station. It was clean, well appointed and had a good buzz around the lobby and bars/restaurants .
The staff were helpful and informative.
I would stay again if in the area.

Room 1 not good at all and had a bit of a smell.. the room wasn't very modern at all and there were no accessible plugs to plug in phones, laptops or Ipads.

The breakfast was really poor in the club lounge and the choice and quality wasnt up to scratch.

The second room I was offered was a club room and to be faitr the duty manager acted quickly and didnt quibble about my complaint. I would say though the club room only eqauted to a standard room in any other hotels I have stayed in and where there is a consistency of experience, quality and staff.

The restaurant staff were excellent and the service was very good and really polite. The chef however seems unable to cook a medium rare steak (twice asked and
twice failed). I suppose this is not a huge deal but it does seem to be a fairly simple ask and an easy one to get right and also one that seems to be delivered in other hotels and restaurants with ease.

The Gym was really poor and very limited. Thier was no staff members near the Gym and the equipment was strewn all over the floor with weights, dumbells and matts strewn everywhere.

Overall the staff were helpful and very pleasant and Duty manager was very good as were the restaurant staff. The property was probably the let down and while in a great location just missed the quality mark.
