World famous Gold Souk is Dubai's Gold Souk, where narrow streets are lined with shop windows glinting with ornaments made in 22 and 24 carat gold. Along the slightly larger lanes of the gold souk, each shop window is crammed with gold necklaces, rings, bangles, ear rings and brooches. Gold prices here are among the lowest in the world. Most jewellery is 24 carat and none is less than 18 carat.

Dubai Museum

Al Fahidi Fort, which houses the Dubai Museum, was built around 1787, and once guarded the landward approaches to the town.Renovated in 1971 for use as a museum, its colourful life size dioramas vividly depict everyday life in the days before the discovery of oil. Galleries recreate scenes from the Creek, traditional Arab houses, mosques, the souk, date farms and desert and marine life.

Wild Wadi Waterpark

This water park was designed like an Arabian wadi (oasis) with characteristics from Arabian folklore and has rides and attractions, many of which interconnect. Once you enter, you will be given access to all the water rides, as well as the use of rubber rings, lifejackets and body boards. The water park has 90 lifeguards on duty, keeping you safe while you are having fun. Wild Wadi's variety of rides suit kids of all ages, make it a favourite water sports area in Dubai.
