Memorial Day weekend, so the hotel was busy with many families staying to enjoy the water park. There was some noise up and down the halls as kids passed by, but that is going to be normal at a hotel with a large water park.
The water park itself is a great feature. It was a busy park on a busy weekend, but there was still plenty of room for the kids to enjoy themselves for as long as they wanted.
The one challenge with the busy weekend was the breakfast option. The restaurant was very busy on Memorial day and there appeared to be staffing issues with the number of servers. Unfortunately, this resulted in tables getting cleared slowly, which resulted in some seating delays for those of us waiting to eat. Through the hectic morning our server, Penny, maintained an incredibly positive attitude and did her best to keep up with the large number of tables under her care.
The buffet seemed to offer a better quality food than the menu. We had a mix of orders in our table and ultimately, everyone switched to the buffet after receiving their menu item orders.
Overall, a very good experience that will likely have us returning for a visit in the future. [Less]
