Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic rooms This hotel is somewhat busy and could do with more staff on hand at check in. Also, the dark (black) colouring in the lobby makes place look cold and uninviting, perhaps this can be addressed. Besides this, the rooms were spacious and funky. Nice big spacious windows, and clean. Perhaps there needs tobe a second lift area in the building, as I had to walk across the floor from my lift to my room. Also, this hotel charges for wifi. Any other international hotel chain offers this service for free. June 16, 2013

Service was wonderful - nothing too much trouble! Gorgeous room - comfortable, spacious, clean, had everything that we needed. Concierge was fabulous - nothing too much trouble for him to organise. Quick to get a taxi to go into town for dinner - great location and proximity to the airport - would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone who needed a place to stay while transiting somewhere else. This time (with more time) we caught the Metro to various places around Singapore for the gardens & shopping etc with no trouble at all. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Outstanding apart from no rooms for family of 5 All was perfect except we had to pay for 2 separate hotel rooms when we would have fit in one- our baby sleeps between us anyway and our 2 and 4 year olds can share the second queen size bed in the room but the hotel/staff would not allow this and we had to book and pay for a whole 2nd hotel room (not connected to the one we were in- there were no hotel rooms with more than 1 bedroom) we did not need to use June 14, 2013

The first time we booked this property was because of the convenience it offered for our late-night arrival. But we found that we actually enjoy the ambience at this property as well as their excellent restaurants. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A very good stay! I had heard about this hotel before I made the decision to stay here. As recommended, this is indeed a good hotel! The staff was always accommodating and they always serviced with a smile. I wish they had allowed me to do a late check out as my flight was only at 7pm, nonetheless, they graciously offered to store my luggage till I could pick it up later in the day. The fact that this hotel was in the vicinity of the airport meant that I did not have to bring my luggage around after check out and I could take a cab from the office directly to the hotel, pick up my luggage in the evening and proceed to T2 to board my flight! I still had time to stop by the many restaurants in the airport terminal before checking in. However, if you would be spending days going around Singapore, you will have to factor in the time taken to your destination from your hotel as it took me approximately an hour from Orchard to the hotel when I could not get any cabs and had to rely on the MRT. Overall, this had been a great short stay but I would return here again if I were to come to Singapore anytime in the near future. June 10, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Does not honor IHG benefits During my stay last May 18 for a business trip, the staff are very friendly but I was surprised that they are charging me for a late checkout until 2pm. I've asked about the IHG club rewards but they still insist about the half day cost if I do a late checkout. I was booked for the last flight out so I have nowhere else to go. It seems that they are not honoring the IHG benefits. Aside from that incident, the stay is ok, but the internet is a bit slow. June 10, 2013

The room is somewhat quiet despite within the airport compound compared to other airport hotels around the world. This is my fourth time staying over at Crowne Singapore for my b-trip. Keep it up and keep it clean. HOWEVER, this is my second consecutive trip I failed to receive morning newspaper despite making explicit request during check-in. Quite disappointed. June 2, 2013

The Crowne Plaza is an easy distance from the airport and the fact that you can get straight onto the SkyRail with your luggage trolley makes it the best transit experience of our travels in the U.K. and Scandinavia. I was amazed on how good and courteous the staff was and that they immediately upgraded my room when they found out I am a Platinum Rewards Holder! In my many business stays in the US, I only got upgraded once! The room was great! The pool was great! The breakfast buffet choices was a little limited but they made it up during lunch and dinner! Connectivity was fast but there was no wifi in the room. I will definitely stay again in this hotel when I return to Singapore! May 30, 2013

The cost of the wired option is also astronomical....I will only stay nowadays in a hotel that offers free wifi so I will never consider coming back to your hotel eventhough I may inconvenience myself and take a shuttle bus to a competitive hotel! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stopover for long flights with children Wanted a stopover for our flight from Sydney to London and selected the Crowne. It was a great choice. Location fantastic as it is literally adjoining the airport. Check-in was easy and our bags and the cot that we had requested were quickly brought to our room. Even though I had only just joined Priority Club - there were a few perks that we were given such as late checkout and a free drink which was great. The pool was a lovely way to unwind from a long plane trip with young children. We bumped into a gentleman who worked for the hotel on our way to find a drink in the lobby who appeared to be concierge. He kindly gave us great tips on where to take the kids (playground on B1), restaurants (B1 and level 4) as well as how to connect to the internet (Wifi available at hotel in public areas but free in the airport which is the adjoining building). Drinks in the lobby were lovely. The area was a great place to relax in. Beds and facilities were great. Breakfast was typical hotel fare with service almost over-attentive. A perfect stay for 24 hours, we really enjoyed our time there and it was a perfect way to break up the trip. Thanks Crowne! May 29, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Plane Spot and sleep Don't get me wrong, the hotel is amazing, the staff are extremely friendly and would always ask if you are ok. The room is fantastic when awake and watching the planes from the warm NON-Windy Desk. Great Bathroom and chairs. But the only thing that really upset me was the lack of sleep that I had. I figured out that the air con was not on but you have an overall ventilation system which is on one side of the room. It was on the bed side away from the desk and that's why i only found out about it at night when i got into bed. The air con was off so i tried to sleep but i couldn't because this really cold wind was blowing down on me. I tried putting the duvet over my head but then it was getting too hot and i couldn't breath. I phoned downstairs and although friendly, the man said to try turning the air con off but do it when you've inserted the key, at that point i did mention that i think it was a seperate venitilation but he said to try it and call back. so i tried it and thought maybe it was shutting down, so i went back to bed, but it was still windy. He said if i rang back then he'd get maintenence to look at it but i didnt want them coming in taking the ceiling down while i needed sleep. So i left it and tried again this time with my t-shirt over my head and face, it was not working so i tried sleeping on the other end of the bed, it helped slightly but i still didn't actually get to sleep. I felt frustrated and told the reception, she was kind and asked if they could go check it, and later said that for next time to ring to change the side at which the ventilation is coming through. I told her that i phoned. And that was that. There wasn't any real offer of a discount on the room price, so i asked if i could have a free breakfast which was granted. I would have rather had 50% off maybe. May 28, 2013

For the most part it has all the amenities needed, the service and location is great for people that are on transit. The hotel is located in Terminal 3 however my next flight was out of Terminal 1. There is tram service that runs between Terminal 1 and 3 however this service is shuts down betweeen 2-5am. My flight left at 6am and as such I was given 2 options. Either catch a shuttle bus which picks up at a terminal3 door or catch a cab. Since I had baggage, it would have been great if the shuttle bus stopped at the hotel lobby for pick-up, however they don't. I took a cab and paid about $10 for a 3 minute cab ride instead. One of the main reasons one would stay at this hotel was so that they can easily go for their next flight within the terminals when on transit. It defeated my purpose of staying here due to this incovenience and additional cost incurred. I hear that the Airport Authorities controls the tram service but Crowne Plaza should lobby them to run the service 24 hrs since this is a busy International airport. Furthermore, the rates charged at this hotel is not cheap either. The only reason they can get away with this is because they have no competition. I wonder what would happen if nearby hotels were to provide free 24hr shuttle service to and from Changi airport...... May 28, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Questionable food I stay at your hotel quite often as I travel to and from home to my work in Asia. From time to time I have had meals served to me from your restaurant at the Bar 75. I am almost always disappointed. If it was an isolated case then I could understand but even the last time I stayed, I asked for chicken caesar salad and was served chicken that was microwaved and didnt even taste like chicken. Just terrible! On this recent trip I ended up with a stomach bug from eating your food. Hainanese Chicken on this trip plus something I didnt want or pay for! I would have thought a hotel of your standing could get their food right! I have had other problems over the years with your restaurant as well. A shame really! May 20, 2013
