I have stayed at this hotel sevral times always i do get a good room this time the front office staff never appriate my status with ihg, and i was not given a good room despite asking them several[更多] times.

Post COVID Vacation 3
This is a combination of 2 consecutive stays at this hotel.
I checked in and was recognized for my Diamond status. I emailed 2 months prior requesting a room the size of room 167 (it's a room[更多] larger than the rest of the rooms) and I received a reply saying they would block a room for me. When I received my room, I found out that didn't happen, I got a normal room. During my stay I think I found out why. I was put in room 368. Room 367, next door, was a break room for the cleaning staff. I assumed that room 167 was the only larger size room they use for guests.
The room was newly remodeled with hard tile floors and an area rug in front of the sofa. The hallways had new carpet and they were putting in a new hallway paint scheme while I was there. The room size is perfect, since most people use the hotel during layovers in Dubai.
The bathroom only has a shower. The sink is in the corner and has a mirrors on the front and both sides. They replaced the shower heads during my stay. They went from a massage selector head to a fine rain shower head by Blu. The only issue I had was the toilet wouldn't shut itself off. Hopefully they fixed this after I checked out.
Breakfast in the Great Room was excellent. The buffet had large choice for the multiple cultures that stay at the hotel. The Great Room also has a menu lunch and a dinner buffet. Thursday evenings they have a seafood buffet.
The bar in the hotel is named "The Brick Wall". It's a sports themed bar with sports showing on the TV's. They have bucket specials and a happy hour discount. I also received a discount for being a Diamond member, same with lunch and dinner in the Great Room.
The only issue I had with the hotel is one day I requested that my room be cleaned 3 times over 6 hours. Miss Sheree finally got the cleaning staff to clean my room. In all fairness to the hotel, this day was the day I checked out and checked back into the same room at the same time.
The hotel advertises complimentary shuttle service to Dubai International. They NO LONGER have shuttle service to Terminal 2.
