Large, modern room with a great view.

The hotel room and bathroom are large, modern and clean. There is a great view of Ventura Harbor from the patio. I loved all the Dove products in the bathroom, which are pumps and don't waste [更多] plastic. The pillows were the only downside, they sank. [更少]

Overall great stay but encountered an issue.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and have always been pleased. On a visit earlier this year I noticed two parking spots at the from of the front of the hotel that were marked form charging [更多] of electric vehicles. There was a sign that said "Electric Vehicle Charging Station" and markings on the pavement that said "EV Charging Only/" I have an EV so that is a great advantage to me being able to charge on site. This trip I took my EV to take advantage of the charging. I found that the hotel does not, and never has, offered on site chargers. I asked at the desk and was advised I can park in those spots and they could refer me to charges several miles away. I'm not sure what their signage is supposed to indicate. Disappointed [更少]

After several disappointing hotel stays through other chains, I wasn't getting my hopes up that this would be any different. I was more than pleasantly surprised. The customer service through the IHG [更多] texts prior to our arrival was fantastic. We were going to be arriving rather late, so I was concerned that our rooms may be given to another customer. They assured me that the late arrival was not a problem, and that our rooms would be available. Not only were the rooms available, there was a valet outside waiting when we arrived at 11pm, and the front desk personnel was pleasant and very helpful. Once in our rooms, the accommodations were clean, comfortable and actually much nicer than I had anticipated. The balcony had a beautiful view of the ocean, and while the road and train noise was periodically distracting, I always bring earplugs when I travel, so it was minor. The hotel was right on the beach, and the beach was clean and not crowded, and a great spot to watch surfers. Ventura has a nice smaller town feel with enough conveniences to provide whatever you need. This is a definite return trip! [更少]

I took this trip to get away and clear my mind. I was greeted kindly by every staff member I came in contact with. The room I was given was clean and had beautiful view of the sunset and made my stay [更多] that much better. It is a step away from the beach and a very calming place. I would highly recommend for families as well. [更少]

It’s been a unexpectedly hectic month.With so many dramatic life changing events.A quick quite comfortable local getaway.This property and it’s staff made it simple and easy to check in and out as it [更多] should be.I have had cancellation at other properties nearby due to me misplacing my California ID.of course I got charged a cancellation fee for not having my ID.the surrounding properties should learn about hospitality services from the property In Camarillo CA.
