If your need is business travel, and you want a place to sleep, and are willing to take a cab or drive to anything you need, then this hotel will suit you fine as long as you don't intend to work
from your room. My room was worn-out & very dated, looking like 1990 Miami, Florida décor, the beds were hard, and the TV sits on the desk so forget using your laptop at the desk. The hotel location is in the middle of a dingy industrial zone of the city, the neighborhood around the hotel is sketchy, there isn't a restaurant, pub or trattoria near the hotel. The main entrance is steps from a busy side street that was sometimes loaded with speeding traffic. It is very hard to initially find the main entrance to this hotel, the signage is poor.
The people make this place nice. The staff is very nice & accommodating, my room was clean to the limit it could be given what they have to work with. Food and beverage at the restaurant way above average and all hotel services I experienced were prompt. The valet parkers were quick and friendly, I never waited more than 5 minutes for my car.
I can't personally recommend this place, because it just didn't work for me for these reasons: 1) I needed a place to do work in my room with my laptop, and spread out notes, etc, 2) to be able to park the vehicle in the evening and feel safe if I go walking outside at night, 3) modern room amenities for today's business traveler to include consideration for persons with mild disabilities in the design of the bathroom.
