Location is great, easily accessible.
For below comments, I have already mentioned to Ms Gabriela during checkout on 22nd Jan. She was so nice and humble to the comments. And I would like to take

this opportunity to thank her for listening to me.
Upon checking at Ambassador member counter on 19th Jan morning, I can feel how professional the manager is. He is familiar with the whole check in process. However, in general, the staff in the hotel does not give a feel of "warm welcome" to high rank member. Quite procedural, I am not saying this is wrong, but just a cool feeling. More than that, the checking date was actually my birthday, and I have some expectation on room upgrades more than 1 tier guaranteed by Ambassador membership, but there was none. I am not sure whether he has noticed this was my birthday by checking my passport info, I felt a bit disappointed.
When I suggested I wanted to have room upgrade, I was offered paid upgrades, and asked me what the current price of a suite night was...... and then offered a bit lower price differential. My God, I was so annoyed at that time. I cannot really feel the difference between paid upgrades at a discount and best available rate for that one bed suite, is this how IHG does business with Diamond Ambassador member? Finally I took the offer of upgrading 1 night to Senior suite, which I think it's overpriced.
And thank you for the welcoming gift. Would be better if there is more personalized gifts (like handwritten cards), especially for special occasions stay (I am not sure if the hotel has noticed this before, as I have already typed birthday for purpose of stay.
Furniture of Both room types I stayed in were in general dated, especially the desk and wardrobes. Also, the towels are not really clean, I tried to put a towel to the bathtub with hot water and stir the water, the water became milky! That happened even in the Senior suite! This is unsatisfactory for a 5 star hotel in the heart of Warsaw. The cleanliness really needs improvements.
All in all, I think more training with staff attitude to IHG members and cleaning team are necessary to keep the Intercontinental standard. Only replacing towels when guests place used ones on the floor and ignore the others is not a reasonab.le excuse to be following a so called environmental cleaning policy. [Weniger]
