We have stayed here two years in a row when we visited Universal Studios. It’s about 25 min drive from the park, longer if there is traffic. We could stay closer but this hotel has secure, gated

parking and seems pretty secure. There is a McDonalds, Starbucks and an El Pollo Loco right across the street. That was great for the kids.
With many arriving and checking in all at once there is not enough parking so we had to drive around a few times. Once we were checked in everything went smooth.
Our room was clean and the air conditioner worked well.
We did use the pool area and it was nice and clean and the pool seemed a comfortable temperature, a little cold for me, but the kids had no trouble jumping right in and telling me how great it was. We did need to request more room towels after using pool.
The breakfast is not fancy but there was many choices. Toast breads, danish, eggs, meats, fruits, cereals, juices, yogurts, etc. the area was clean and maintained with many tables. It was pleasant.
I’ve stayed in way worse then this place and would stay here again. In fact when we go back to Universal Studios we probably will stay here again.
If I’m looking for a downside it would be night noise. Both times we stayed we heard firecrackers go off and we heard people outside talking and laughing loudly. We had kids with us and had gone to bed pretty early so it may not have been ‘middle of the night’ late but still pretty late. The kids slept through it but we woke and talked about hearing the same noises last time we stayed. Maybe next time we will ask to stay on the other side. Both of our stays were right above the doors leading into lobby, check-in.
All in all it was a pretty good stay and the kids had a blast [Moins]
