Sehr freundlicher Check-in, Status wurde erwähnt, ebenfalls das Upgrade auf den Premium Room. Das Zimmer hatte eine kostenfreie Minibar und war - trotz Lage zur Strasse - recht ruhig und angenehm [Plus] zum Schlafen. Etwas kurios, dass mir beim Checkin als Diamond lediglich ein Drink oder die Punkte angeboten wurden. Das Frühstück wäre explizit nur für zwei Personen und da ich alleine im Hotel war, würde dieses für mich nicht zur Auswahl stehen. Das Personal sei so geschult worden. Nach kurzer Diskussion erhielt ich jedoch den Frühstück-Voucher. [Moins]

Very excellent location when you attend a concert or event at the Hallenstadion. Just cross the street and you're there. Tha staff at the bar was super busy, and didn't smile much, it's a [Plus] shame. But will be back. [Moins]

The Holiday Inn Zurich is relatively close to the train station, tram and bus stations. It is extremely easy to move to the historic centre and the airport. The surroundings of the near train station [Plus] have several restaurants, supermarkets and shops. Breakfast was good, plentiful and with good variety. The room was spacious and well-distributed, with an excellent desk and a good chair. The closet was very good, with shelves, hangers and an excellent safe that fit the computer. The bathroom has a good size and layout, and is well-lit, with easy water temperature control in the shower and a hairdryer. The mechanically controlled blinds let in plenty of natural light, without being intrusive, as there were thin white curtains. When closed, the blinds darkened the room very well. Disliked · The lighting from the lamps in the bedroom is not good at night, as it makes the bedroom dark, even if the lamps on the bedsides and on the desk are good. It must be troublesome to pack without natural light. The shower box cannot be closed (!), which makes the shower quite uncomfortable: if you are not careful, the bathroom easily gets wet. There is no hygienic shower beside the toilet, which would help the people who cannot or should not use toilet paper. The space for the suitcase does not fit a suitcase that is not a handbag, as a larger suitcase would block the door - if the space were in reverse position in relation to the closet, it would be much more satisfactory. And the air conditioning has a limit of up to - 5°C in relation to the ambient temperature. If someday global warming leads to higher summer temperatures, such as 40 °C, there will be very uncomfortable room temperatures. It is not the hotel's fault, as it appears to be local law, but this limit is not warned at the time of booking. [Moins]

Quiet service area close to Lucerne

Good quiet hotel, free parking, good breakfast, about 15 minutes from the center of Lucerne by car but a bit high price. The hotel has no air conditioning and was very hot. Hard to get to Lucerne if [Plus] you don't have a car. [Moins]

Good country location and nearby walkable Mountain View was wonderful. Nearby Kinderspielplatz was nice to engage the kids to get relaxed. Voucher to nearby hotel is also advantage. Outdoor [Plus] Parkplätze is also Perfect with no Snow. [Moins]
