Having never been to Atlanta before, but experiencing the Crowne Plaza in New Orleans, I felt comfortable about being in a strange city.
Starting with the shuttle service from the airport to the
hotel, my entire stay was a seamless integration of work and leisure.
Using the shuttle service to go back to the airport, and catch the rail link into the city. I spent a fantastic day taking in some of the sights and attractions.
The highlight for me was the magnificent Atlanta First United Methodist Church. A neo Gothic style structure, designed and built in 1903.featuring some of the finest stained glass windows. Some of which came from Germany, and other pieces made by Tiffany's of New York.
The Crowne Plaza was my home away from home for my brief visit, which was over all too soon, and the skyway back to Australia was calling me.
Would I stay there again, ?? Most certainly. The staff were fantastic, and the ladies in the dining room, made sure we were well looked after. Especially at breakfast, when everyone was in a hurry to eat and get to their various appointments. [Less]
