Very Professional and accommodating staff
By kjurg
We stayed at the Indigo because the rates were a bit more in line with our budget while at the Mayo Clinic. The staff, especially the chef, Brian and the server, Maddy, were excellent. We made new [More] friends and enjoyed the meals we ate there. Can't wait to see what the new restaurant will serve. The breakfast was not included in our stay, but amazing and the price was very reasonable. [Less]
Mayo trip
By Sharon K
I had mayo appointments over three days so I brought my 70 lbs lab. (They allow up to 75 lbs with kennel). The nice thing about this location is the trail system is just outside the parking lot to [More] walk your dog. There is a coat rack mounted on the wall you can put your leash on. Rooms are contemporary with chaise ,nice bed, nice lights, pillows are stuffed full. There is a nice desk and comfortable chair at desk. Room comes with fridge, steamer, and safe. Mayo/Gonda buildings are easily 7-10 minute walk through skywalk and subway levels. There are a lot of restaurants and shops along the way. A tip if you park in garage on non lobby floor, chose skywalk level button, in elevator push 2R button. When you get off, hotel is to left, right is skywalk to Mayo/Gonda. Lobby is farther in on left. Some of the rooms face a common area. Some face the outside. I had one that faced the parking lot which was fine I had my dog and it was close to the skywalk in a more secluded hall. [Less]
Wonderful renovation, wonderful people!
By LentilSoup
I have been staying at this property for over a decade (previously it was a Holiday Inn Express), mainly for cost and convenience reasons. It was a pleasure to recently experience its renovation [More] into a Hotel Indigo, as everything was updated and the rooms were totally renovated, comfortable and fresh. I was visiting friends who were staying at another nearby hotel and after they saw my room and checked the price, they moved into this hotel! One story about the helpfulness of the front desk. I had brought a bag of sliced oranges to eat on my drive to Rochester. I didn't eat them so wanted to give them to my friends, who were staying in town a while. I mistakenly left them in my room's refrigerator after I checked out, so called the front desk, who helpfully got the bag of oranges, put them in a refrigerator, then proactively gave them to my friends when they checked in - all with big smiles on their faces. A real pleasure. [Less]

I wish I knew what bedding they used because I loved it so much I wanted to purchase for my home. Loved the great free shuttle service to the Mayo especially with bad weather and not having to [More] worry about driving on top of medical issues. Loved the cleanliness of the big comfortable room Just wish their underground parking didn’t fill up as I was told it fills up by 6 pm so never got a chance to use. [Less]
