Great place to stay if you would like to stay in Time Square and head to Broadway shows.
Overall experience was great. My wife and I stayed there over New Years.
Every time I went to the front
desk during the day the people behind the desk were a pleasure to deal with.
We sat at the restaurant for for about 20 mins before being talked to a couple times.
The lady at the breakfast buffet seating us always gave us great seats.
My room was noisy because we were in on of the rooms with the connecting door to the other room next to use. So we could hear everyone in that room. Hotels should find a way to seal those doors from noise.
The main complaint that I have was the way I was treated when the Storm came in and our flight was cancelled.
We had to extend our room one extra night and we did this during the day, they were great and helped us out. I was more then grateful by the service they gave us. The day before the storm on Jan 4th I found out my flight has been cancelled at about 5 pm. I call down to reserve the room another night to be told that it is double the rate then the night before. Not happy about the rate, I went down to talk to the Night time Manager ( keep in mind I am a IHG member). He tells me that because of the storm they are showing -10 in bookings and that is the price. I guess by that he was telling me that if you are not going to pay for the room someone will. I wasn't to impressed by him not willing to work with me after staying there for 7 nights. So me an my wife had to move hotels during the storm the next day. I feel if I dealt with management during the day I would of had a better outcome.
Other then that it was great overall. I have to hand it to the NYPD they had a officer posted in the main entrance everyday we were there. That made the place feel very safe. [Less]
