Female staff over the counter was exceptionally welcoming and made me feel good on my first day arriving in Berlin. Sorry I did not manage to get her name but she is blond and has above-shoulder
length hair. (terrible that I did not get her name) but please if Holiday Inn Berlin City Centre can compliment her as necessary as she was very pleasant, patient and professional.
This was also my first time staying in the 'Express' chain of Holiday Inn hotels and was quite surprised that there was no mini-fridge, wardrobe or ironing board available at all. But since I was there for just 2 nights it did not bother me as much.
It was a pleasant stay but a little far off from Potsdamer Platz - about 20mins walk, if you're a fast walker. And again surprised that another Holiday Inn hotel chain in Germany that did not provide the basic necessity of a toothbrush kit. I can't say that it is the case for all Holiday Inn Hotel chains though as the ones I have been in Australia and Asia provide complete toiletries kit. It just baffles me. [Less]
