If you are searching for Plymouth hotels, look no further. Stay with us in one of the south coast of Devon's premier locations and take advantage of all that this vibrant, modern city has to offer.

Plymouth is easily reachable by train from London, Bristol and Birmingham and nearby Exeter Airport is just 40 miles away, offering national and international flights. Drivers can approach on the M5 to Exeter and then continue onwards along the A38.

Plymouth's history, as with many places on England's south coast, is primarily one of maritime and naval traditions. The Industrial Revolution saw the city become a major trading post and passenger hub for people travelling to and from America. The city's Barbican was one launching point of The Mayflower and the stunning Royal Citadel on Plymouth Hoe was built after the English Civil War as a naval defense.

Visitors will be able to experience all of the city's historical landmarks and attractions. Not to be missed is the city's Grade I listed lighthouse, Smeaton's Tower, which offers spectacular views over Plymouth Sound. Dartmoor National Park is on the city's doorstep and is well worth a visit with one of the many guided tours that are available.

Culture vultures need look no further than the Theatre Royal and The Drum. The former is the largest in the South West and regularly stages musicals, opera and ballet performances. The Merchant's House also gives a unique insight into the city's trade history.

The newly rebuilt Drake Circus shopping centre is the first port of call for all shoppers out there, with all of your regular high street names under one roof. Plymouth's own Independent Quarter offers a fantastic unique shopping experience with a vast array of independent retailers selling the best that Devon has to offer.

Whether looking to take advantage of the city's coastline, to have an adventure holiday in Dartmoor or simply for somewhere to unwind after a busy day of meetings in the city, our Plymouth hotels are just what you need.

Excellent base for travelling around Cornwall. Staff helpful and friendly . Would benefit greatly from comfortable outdoor seating as when returning to hotel after a long day it would have been nice [More] to sit outside on comfy seats with a drink instead of the wooden benches that are currently available [Less]
Great wheelchair-accessible hotel and friendly staff
By Sandra
We stayed here for a long weekend to explore the area. My husband uses a manual wheelchair so we booked the accessible room with interconnecting door to the adjacent room, as well as a third room [More] for our carer. This worked really well for us. The accessible room was spacious, with a very well appointed wet room bathroom. We sourced a profiling bed from a local mobility hire company, based at Truro, and were delighted that the hotel accommodated our request for it to be placed in our room. Huge thanks to Donna for sorting this out for us. The staff were all friendly and welcoming and breakfast was very well organised due to the current social-distancing measures in place. Being a new hotel, it was completely wheelchair-accessible, and I was reassured to see an Evac Chair in the stairwell in case of emergency evacuation. As regards the rooms, I would have liked them to have included a fridge, but again, the staff were very accommodating when we requested fresh milk. Also, the rooms can get a little stuffy by the morning as there is no window opening, but the air conditioning works very well. The location of this hotel is perfect to explore all of Cornwall. An added bonus was the Cornwall Services right next door and the BP Service Station. [Less]
