Featured Stratford-upon-avon Hotels

If you are looking for Stratford Upon Avon hotels in a central location, look no further. We have a hotel right in the heart of this historic market town centre.

Given its place in history as the birthplace of William Shakespeare, it is no surprise whatsoever that Stratford Upon Avon is such a popular tourist location. You can visit Shakespeare's birthplace and wander around houses related to him and his family. The market town remains something of a celebration to the playwright, responsible for its thriving tourism. Unsurprisingly, this is the place to come to catch a performance of one of Shakespeare's many plays. The Royal Shakespeare Theatre is located in the town. There are 4 other venues in the town offering a variety of entertainment as well.

Staying with the Shakespeare theme, fans of the playwright may also be interested in visiting the house of his sweetheart. Anne Hathway's cottage and gardens are open to the public.

There's more to this market town than William Shakespeare though. There are 4 museums that are not in any way related to him, including the unique ‘Mad Museum' that will be a hit with the children.

For sports fans, Stratford Upon Avon has its own racecourse and a couple of golf courses thrown in for good measure.

The town isn't too far from the M40 for drivers. Alternatively, it's well serviced by the train network too, with direct services to a number of towns and cities including London, Birmingham, Warwick and High Wycombe.

So pack your bags for a stay in our Stratford Upon Avon hotel and spend a night or two right in the heart of the home of the world's most celebrated playwright.

Great stay at the Birmingham Airport Holiday Inn. Stylish design throughout the hotel, bar and restaurant. Extremely comfortable beds. Although the hotel is located next to the Airport runway it [More] wasn't very loud. [Less]

Very Comfortable
By Miles
I always feel very welcomed from the moment I arrive, the staff are courteous and friendly and now remember me on arrival. The gym is small but well laid out and with everything that is needed and [More] so, though I am away from home I find that my routines are not interrupted except in the nicest possible ways of having someone else do all of the hard work. The rooms are comfortable and clean so I always sleep incredibly well...as much as you can ask for when away. All in all a pleasure. [Less]

Don't have any negatives to say about this place! Lovely friendly staff that work in a beautiful setting and a very modern hotel, it is very spacious and comfortable and the bed is amazing !! [Less]
Always a good experience
By NormanO
From the moment you enter until the moment you exit you are treated very well be all of the staff. You are asked how you are etc, and its always a genuine question rather than a generic [More] greeting. If I have one complaint it would be about the internet. Sometimes it is great, other times it is poor, with slow speeds and frequent disconnects. I would suggest that the coverage given by the Wireless Access Points are not sufficient and you should seek to have a coverage survey done to ensure that there is not so much distance between the AP's.
