Featured Watford Hotels

Whether you're on the lookout for Watford hotels near a train station for quick and easy access into Central London in the morning, or if you're coming to stay in the town for a day or two, you'll be more than impressed with our fantastic facilities.

Watford is located in Hertfordshire, within the M25. It's easily accessible by road via the M1 and via train as it is a calling point for many West Coast Main Line services. London Euston is roughly 20 minutes by train from Watford Junction station. Luton and Heathrow airports are about 30 minutes drive away.

The 12th Century Grade I listed St Mary's parish church is one of the town's standout landmarks. Buildings alone do not make up all of Watford's landmarks; the Grand Union Canal passes directly through the town at nearby Cassiobury Park, which is a great place to spend your day.

Although Central London is on its doorstep, do not pass up the opportunity of seeing what Watford itself has to offer. Catch a concert at the Watford Colosseum, which hosts regular classical and popular music events. It is widely regarded as having some of the best acoustics in Europe. The Grade II listed Watford Palace Theatre shows many of its own productions for which it has gained critical acclaim.

Head out to the Intu Watford Shopping Centre (formerly the Harlequin Shopping Centre), which has over 140 stores covering just about anything you might need.

Very good value for money

Room service finishes too early for me - not what I expect from a Holiday Inn. But..... room was nice and very comfortable. A good night's sleep. [Less]
Re-assuring stay
By PODC
My stay at the London-Kings Cross Bloomsbury was a very good and comfortable experience. It lived up to the usual standards that one has come to expect of the Holiday Inn Experience. Although [More] there was no buzz in the reception area, this was due to the ongoing work to upgrade the hotel into a Crown Plaza. The only slight disappointment was with the breakfast. There was no fruit salad - normally expected at breakfast at the Holiday Inn. The mushroom, sausages. and bacon was not preserved at the right temperature. This is probably because the kitchen was operating from the basement as a temporary measure while the hotel is being upgraded. PODC [Less]
Modernised Hotel with parking
By BigEars23
The hotel is under going some renovations but the disruption was well managed and minimal. The lobby is minimalist and roomy (and a tad drafty when the main doors opened). the elevators are new and [More] quick and quiet. rooms have nice modern feel with a bathroom done to high spec. Hard to find the kettle, but it is there in a drawer. Could do with mains outlets both sides of the bed for phone charging. nice to see USB chargers at desk. Some parking is available at the front of the hotel which could be a life-saver if you have gear to drop off. [Less]

Fautless little gem!
By NicolaOpt2016
I stayed here last night as I had an event in the area. The reception staff were very welcoming and happy to talk to you. This hotel is tucked round the back of the main King Street high street [More] of Hammersmith so a perfect location for shopping, the Hammersmith Apollo and main tube lines. It has a car park round the back but shares it with shoppers so first come first serve. But very easy, all you have to do is tell the reception team your registration number and then the cost gets put onto your room. So once you have checked it you go up to a very clean and very well maintained corridor to your room. Someone has really thought about space management because as soon as you walk into your room you find a unique bathroom with maxed out space coverage. The door to the bath room transform into 2 roles. So you can close it from the main frame so no one can come in or you can close the door once you enter the toilet area only then someone else can use the shower and sink area at the same time. Great if you have to get ready at the same time! It may be a small point but it made a huge difference to us. The room was very clean and well kept. The bed is very comfortable and you can tilt the window open if you wanted. You don't hear any noise from the main high street so a peaceful night sleep is guaranteed (unless you get what I had with a neighbour continuously coughing and then slamming doors). Oh yes that would be the only thing I would say, you can hear everything room to room! The breakfast had a good choice of items and was one of the better breakfasts I have had from an Express chain. Overall, an excellent stay and I will go again. I would recommend this hotel to all! Thank you! [Less]
