Featured Watford Hotels

Whether you're on the lookout for Watford hotels near a train station for quick and easy access into Central London in the morning, or if you're coming to stay in the town for a day or two, you'll be more than impressed with our fantastic facilities.

Watford is located in Hertfordshire, within the M25. It's easily accessible by road via the M1 and via train as it is a calling point for many West Coast Main Line services. London Euston is roughly 20 minutes by train from Watford Junction station. Luton and Heathrow airports are about 30 minutes drive away.

The 12th Century Grade I listed St Mary's parish church is one of the town's standout landmarks. Buildings alone do not make up all of Watford's landmarks; the Grand Union Canal passes directly through the town at nearby Cassiobury Park, which is a great place to spend your day.

Although Central London is on its doorstep, do not pass up the opportunity of seeing what Watford itself has to offer. Catch a concert at the Watford Colosseum, which hosts regular classical and popular music events. It is widely regarded as having some of the best acoustics in Europe. The Grade II listed Watford Palace Theatre shows many of its own productions for which it has gained critical acclaim.

Head out to the Intu Watford Shopping Centre (formerly the Harlequin Shopping Centre), which has over 140 stores covering just about anything you might need.

Consistent service from holiday inn
By Ste12345
Good level of cleanliness and stafff are well trained and welcoming. Room very good quality. Breakfast is ok but would be a good area for the chain to improve. Lots of it doesn't mean it is actually [More] appetising or appealing... [Less]

Good stay
By P1981
The hotel is everything you would expect and the standards are consistent with the regular standards of a holiday inn. Only suggestion for improvement is the breakfast choices, although the food is [More] good quality there is not a lot to choose from, might be due to the fact the self service area isn't very big however it wasn't a bad effort and we all got something for breakfast that we where happy with. Also I like a firm bed, however the beds are really firm so struggled to settle the first night but by the second I think I got used to it. [Less]
Great Stay
The reception staff here are unbelievably helpful - I cannot fault them. The hotel was clean and well kept and the food good and reasonably priced. Only downside - noisy guests and banging [More] doors !!!! I would stay again and ask for a room in a quiet area then it would be top marks all around. [Less]

Quality and Comfort
By Dean103
A very well maintained hotel serving my needs as a business traveller. A very well equipped gym was very much appreciated and used on my last visit. I took the room only option due to early work [More] commitments so no comments on the bar or restaurant but the room was very comfortable especially the bed which was top class. A great night sleep was achieved! Although top end of the cost stakes in the area worth the extra if you get the chance to use the facilities. [Less]
Comfortable bed and clean room
