Quiet, efficient, comfortable

My sister and I stayed at this hotel overnight during our weekend stay in San Diego. It was my first time booking as a member through the website, and I appreciated being welcomed as a new member at [More] check-in. I was pleased to find that my request for a room away from the elevator was fulfilled. There is only one elevator, so it will take a little time to use it in the mornings when guests are going down to and up from breakfast. If you're comfortable with stairs, I recommend using the stairwell at the far end of the building. The exterior and interior of the hotel were clean. Our room and restroom were also clean. We liked how there were both firm and soft pillows on each bed. My sister and I bought a few snacks from the mini-store in the lobby. There's a nice variety of snacks and cold drinks for purchase. The prices are comparable to vending machines and convenience stores. In the evening, I accessed the business center in the lobby to print out course handouts to go over. I appreciated being able to print documents for free. Although it was for one night, we enjoyed our stay and was able to rest up well. [Less]
