Not the most appealing from the outside but if you are looking for a decent place to stay in the north DC area this is it. Very friendly staff...just be prepared for a smaller than normal room...but [More] who needs a big room when you just staying for the night! [Less]
Remarkable staff and management
By KULteech
I would like to thank the management and staff at this hotel for making our stay for the Women's March on DC a perfect experience. Everyone we came in contact was professional, courteous, and [More] welcoming. Each day and night we were nourished with meals, snacks, and kindness. Along with providing a clean and attractive environment to stay, this staff went out or their way to accommodate our needs, including shuttles, directions, and even some office supplies. I am sure this is standard operating procedure for this place, but to me it seemed personal and special. I look forward to returning. [Less]

Excellent experience at Willard
By SandJC
My husband and I enjoyed an anniversary getaway at the Willard. The staff was professional and courteous. We were pleasantly surprised by a gift of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in [More] honor of our anniversary. We would highly recommend The Willard as a good place to stay for local DC residents who want a quick getaway or guests from outside of the DC area who want to visit DC. In addition to the high quality of the hotel, it is conveniently located within the district. [Less]
Exellent location

This historic hotel is in an excellent location. It felt a bit dated but it probably should be given the history of this iconic hotel. It was a disappointment that I was not allowed a late checkout [More] past 1pm as I had a late flight. Otherwise it was a good experience. [Less]
