Comfy bed

Nice facilities but slow internet, very comfortable bed and pillows, breakfast item can be changed up more often. Adding cooked oatmeal would be nice instead of the instant ones. [Less]

Bed comfort and AC

Please consider that for myself, I do not own a Duvay for my personal bed nor do I sleep well with one on the bed as I find it too hot.. Who ever made the decision to have this as the only option in [More] all holiday inns was dead wrong. At a minimum, all rooms should have a light blanket ready for use in the closet so guests will always have that option. The A/C in this room was so noisey that I was unable to get a nights rest as I need to turn it down to lowest setting. [Less]
Nice Hotel but...

Breakfast is an issue. They offer a some choices for breakfast but it can be a mad house when they start serving at 7:00 a.m. and everyone has to leave by 7:30 to got to work. they do offer a grab [More] and go. the wait staff at the restaurant "Shelby Chambells" is pretty under par. there is no real sense of urgency and they make you feel like you are putting them out if you ask for service. I waited 15 minutes to get greeted by anyone because they were to busy either watching the game or on their cell phones. [Less]
Great Stay

Loved staying here. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean and very accommodating to the members of my conference. The only issue we found was the Air conditioner in the room did not cool [More] properly. The door to the room had to be Jammed to be closed and that happened with the bathroom door also. It probably isn't the fault of the hotel but I always feel like the restaurants inside the hotel should stay open longer when they have a conference on site. On a Saturday night, they stopped serving food at 10pm. Most of the conference goers were attending the conference until, at least that time. When they finally came out, there was no where to get food. And even tho the stated hours for the bar were till 1am, they closed at midnight and actually had to throw people out. I don't know. That seems counter productive to me. But I guess they are the ones losing money. [Less]

The friendliness of the staff at reception was way beyond what I would ever expect. They even remembered my name each time I walked by. I would like to have had the option to self-park but the [More] valet service was great. [Less]

The only recommended change I would make would be to move the microwave to the table top. Also a table beside the chair would make it ideal for setting a beverage next to it. [Less]
Incredible value in a newly renovated property

This property was an incredible value. The lobby is gorgeous and the dining/bar outlets look very nice, though I did not have the opportunity to try them out. The guestrooms appear to have been [More] recently renovated and offer fantastic views of Evanston through floor-to-ceiling windows. Guests in upper floors can catch a glimpse of Lake Michigan from their windows. Valet parking is easy and located right below the property. [Less]
