Nice but noisy
By Gwen
Too much noise from train and traffic. Wish curtains closed all the way. [Less]
Guest staff
By Proud parent
Again, the front desk staff and the two gentlemen we encountered for the valet parking experience were exceptional. The issue with the AC was a technical one and dissatisfaction had nothing to do [More] with the staff trying to fix it but with the maintenance of the unit generally. Two detractors - room service trays and dishware left outside of guest rooms for an unreasonable length of time. It actually became a joke to us how long a spoon would stay on the floor outside of the room down the hall from us before a staff member picked it up. At one point, there were three maid carts within a ten foot radius and it was still there when they left. Also, would recommend some sort of staff elevator access policy as riding in the elevator with maid carts is not something I am accustomed to. At the least, staff should exit when there is no room for guests and reenter a less crowded elevator. [Less]
Very nice hotel
By Katsfoot
Everyone there was super nice and helpful. But this survey is lacking. It needs an 'Other' for 'Reason for Stay' and my review should be able to be less than 50 characters in order to move on. [Less]
Full house
By Visitor
We stay at this hotel a lot and usually get the same room with no problem. This time we booked a block of 3 rooms and called a few days before check in to remind them that we wanted the rooms [More] together and on the bottom floor by the pool. We had a handicapped person with us but didn't book a handicapped room because if it was by the pool it would have been fine. I was assured that it was all set. When we got there ( at 2pm) there was a line of people and the hotel was fully booked. They gave us 1 of the 3 rooms and said they would work on the other two ( they weren't there yet) as there was a line of people. So we checked in and I went to the desk an hour later as they requested. The first room, while not on the first floor or near the pool was ok. They were not able to find 2 rooms nearby so finally we settled on 3 rooms ( which were much smaller) on the second floor at the back of the hotel but were next to each other. Martha at the desk was awesome and it wasn't her fault that our needs were not met- but she went over and beyond to help and even gave us breakfast for the next day. We weren't able to use the pool because we were too far away and our handicapped person couldn't walk there easily. One male employee gave out bottles of water to all the people having problems which was very nice. Other people were having issues as well but the front desk was wonderful and they were so nice and calm and did their best. I don't think my call was communicated to them but they really tried to make it right. It was just one night and the room was small but it was ok because of the awesome employees! The customer service was wonderful! [Less]

Great Hotel-Disappointing Front Desk Staff
By Todd C
Great location, close to Boston. Rooms are big comfortable and the free parking is a bonus. Too bad that the front desk staff offer service which is far from comfortable or legendary. [Less]
Most everything ok
By McNally
Room was large and comfortable. Only problem was heating / air unit was locked on "Hi" fan; which was too much noise. The fan was needed because the hallway noise carries easily into the room. [Less]
Great facility, good location
By DLCA
We stayed as part of a hockey tourney weekend and were also there to visit 3 Boston area schools. We had a few glitches upon our arrival but there were adequately dealt with by Pat. Morning breakfast [More] buffet was adequate for our athletes. Location easy to access our arenas, downtown Boston and local shopping. Our room was large and clean; bed was fine for 2 of is (I had originally requested 2 queens but this was one of the glitches and it worked out absolutely fine for us!) the room had a small fridge and that was great for athlete snacks. We will definitely stay again for our next Boston trip. [Less]
