Comfortable and convenient stay
By Jing007
We stayed 2 nights with the hotel on our recent trip to Boston. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast staff were very jolly and always had a smile on their faces that perked [More] up our mornings. Bathrooms were a bit dated and the tub was slippery so my elderly mother was quite worried during her shower. I would suggest a bath mat or an upgrade of the tub floor. Other than that, everything was satisfactory in the room. Overall it was a good stay. [Less]
Great staff!
By metj
This hotel was very clean and the staff was great! I had a problem while staying at this Holiday Inn Express and the staff went above and beyond to help me. I am very appreciative for all they did [More] for me. [Less]
Enjoyable stay
This was a great, centrally located hotel in Boston. We walked everywhere, and some locations, like Faneuil Hall and the North End were less than 10 minutes walk. The hotel staff were friendly and [More] the accommodations were comfortable. Would definitely recommend. [Less]
Great location
By Brandi27
Everything was excellent except check in. We arrived after check in time and had to wait 40 minutes for our room, which was a standard double. The hotel staff at the front desk upgraded our room at [More] no additional fee to make up for the inconvenience [Less]
great location but room smell like cigarette
By Francis10025
The overall experience was good. We had a room with windows facing another window so to have privacy, we had to keep the curtains closed all the time. Also, we could smell cigarette on some occasions [More] so I guess the air vent system was next to an employee break spot. The staff was nice to us and were doing everything they can to improve our stay. [Less]
Had better Intercontinental experiences
By TechGuyfromCA
This was an okay experience staying at an Intercontinental. The room was not very clean, there were spots on the carpet and there was some gooey stuff on the window sill. Heating in the room was very [More] unpredictable as it became very hot sometime or it became very cold. Staff was courteous and helpful. I am uploading an image of the gooey stuff on the window sill which was not cleaned during my two night stay [Less]
Absolutely wonderful hotel
By AnnieO25
This hotel was located in the financial district about a 3 minute walk to the South Station T. I easily walked around the entire city without resorting to the T. The staff at the hotel were [More] absolutely outstanding - courteous, friendly and helpful. The rooms were quiet, dark and oh so comfortable, and very, very clean. They had all the amenities you need. The bathrooms were very clean and just outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel and I would absolutely stay here again. [Less]
Club Lounge
By jfwill
The only down side was the club lounge. Staff preparing food seemed to very slow and inexperienced. One morning I had to spend time finding a pepper shaker that would work. Staff preparing omelets [More] did not appear to know how to do it. A lady asking for fried eggs got the wrong order. These are small issues but on a busy weekend it does not represent the service level that Intercontinental is known for. [Less]
