Featured New York City Hotels

There's always something to do and see in the Big Apple, and with a variety of hotels in New York City's most desirable areas, you can count on Holiday Inn Hotels and Resorts to put you in the middle of all the action. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, in town for the night or on a family vacation, get a great New York City hotel without the New York City price tag.

New York is the largest city in the U.S. and offers an exciting mix of restaurants, shops, museums, entertainment and more. Depending on the season, you can watch the first pitch at Yankee Stadium or high fashion in Bryant Park; take a walk through Central Park or ice skate at Rockefeller Center. Of course, there are always the classics - Broadway musicals, exhibits at the Met and the views from the Empire State Building. If you're looking for family friendly activities during your New York City hotel stay, the Central Park Zoo and National History Museum are a great way to spend the day, while a trip to FAO Schwartz will delight both children and adults.

Walking the city is the best way to learn it, although most Holiday Inn hotels in New York City are conveniently located near a subway line, so getting around shouldn't be a problem.

Very comfortable
By chaneden
Okay, the room is small by non-NYC standards - probably about 3 feet of space between the king size bed and the walls. However, it was very modern, clean, and comfortable. I got in late and had a [More] meal through room service from the downstairs restaurant (best fries I've had in a LONG time) which was delicious. Staff was super nice and could not have been more helpful. [Less]

It was Clean and had friendly service. This part of the survey was too much. It will turn people away from completing another survey. [Less]
Great hotel
By DopplerDave
Chose this airport location out of necessity last year. I liked it so much I decided to stay here a few more times when needing to be in the area. Having a view of the airport and city skyline is a [More] huge bonus too. The room was clean and comfortable, and front desk folks are always friendly and accommodating. I didn't have it this time but the room service was stellar last time I was there. Out of all the area "airport" hotels, I believe this one is up there in value for the quality provided. I had a schedule change that meant needing a shuttle between scheduled departures. They were able to accommodate me right away, much appreciated!! I'm staying here again next week, looking forward to it! [Less]
Comfortable and clean room

I felt comfortable stay in this hotel. There is bar, restaurant, fitness center, etc. It is enough facility for business use. I would like to stay again when I visit Newark area next time. [Less]

I wasn't treated as of I were an IHG member which was very disappointing being that's the only reason I chose the hotel over my other options. Me, and my family was upset there wasn't a microwave in [More] the room. [Less]
In and out
By Tom217
After our flight was cancelled the hotel bent over backward to slot us in with no notice or reservation. Very polite and helpful staff. Got us in and out with no problems, just what we wanted. [Less]
Incredible stay for a short getaway
By BeeCee
We booked a short stay using IHG points so that my young teenager could fulfil a dream to attend a particular Broadway show. The location of the Intercontinental was perfect for our needs. It is [More] very close to a subway station, near Times Square, and only a short walk to The Music Box Theatre. We loved being able to retreat from the bustle for a bit and then to go right back out and enjoy the city. We were greeted warmly and and treated to a friendly welcome by Nic at the front desk. He answered our questions and put us in a great room. The view from our beautiful room was amazing. We loved the super comfortable beds; we rested so well. We will definitely return to be cared for like the team team treated us on this stay! [Less]

Good hotel near Times Square
By Aussie family
Hotel is clean and location is 2 blocks from Times Square. Bell staff and concierges are friendly and helpful. Front desk was understaffed and always had a line so expect to wait. No pool but decent [More] gym. This elevation banks were strangly configured so you had to request with two different buttons at bush times. Room was clean but small. Had 2 double beds not 2 queens, which you would expect for the price. Platinum status didn't really mean much this stay - maybe the hotel was full, not sure. Nice place to stay for a family visit to NYC. Would stay in a different area next time away from the huge Times Square and theatre district crowds. [Less]
