Featured New York City Hotels

There's always something to do and see in the Big Apple, and with a variety of hotels in New York City's most desirable areas, you can count on Holiday Inn Hotels and Resorts to put you in the middle of all the action. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, in town for the night or on a family vacation, get a great New York City hotel without the New York City price tag.

New York is the largest city in the U.S. and offers an exciting mix of restaurants, shops, museums, entertainment and more. Depending on the season, you can watch the first pitch at Yankee Stadium or high fashion in Bryant Park; take a walk through Central Park or ice skate at Rockefeller Center. Of course, there are always the classics - Broadway musicals, exhibits at the Met and the views from the Empire State Building. If you're looking for family friendly activities during your New York City hotel stay, the Central Park Zoo and National History Museum are a great way to spend the day, while a trip to FAO Schwartz will delight both children and adults.

Walking the city is the best way to learn it, although most Holiday Inn hotels in New York City are conveniently located near a subway line, so getting around shouldn't be a problem.

Best Beds!
By Cape Cod Liz
This hotel is convenient to the bus station, though you'll need a car to get across the expressway to the other side. The hotel does offer a shuttle to NYC but it is significantly more expensive [More] than parking at the commuter lot and taking the public bus direct to 42nd Street. Most importantly, the mattresses and pillows are extremely comfortable. My only negative comment is in respect to the cleanliness of the bathroom; the previous occupants toiletries (soap, razors) were waiting for me to discard. Yuck. [Less]
Great place to stay
By MelB.
Great place to stay if visiting Northern NJ or NYC. Hotel has a shuttle for about $12 round trip but can be $15 during peak hours. We drove to Hoboken and paid to park on day 2 of our trip and took [More] the PATH trains in to NYC. Pleasant experience all around. [Less]

Pleasant stay
By Catldy47
Hotel was lovely. Staff was accommodating. However, an item that I was expecting in my room was not there nor was it delivered before I left. But, the front desk manager did apologize for the [More] oversight and did offer me extra points in lieu of the item. They made several attempts to contact me but I had no cell phone service so I received an email apologizing for the miscommunication. I have to say that the shuttle bus service from JFK is much too difficult to navigate for someone like me traveling alone and needing mobility assistance. After I called the hotel from the airport however, and explained that I was wheelchair assisted, they did accommodate me. Thank-you for that! [Less]
My New York Sanctuary

Each time I am in New York and am flying out, I book my last night at this Holiday Inn. The reason I continue to return is because I feel quite at home here. The hotel is small, intimate, and [More] friendly. The staff I've encountered are always polite and helpful. My stay here has always allowed me to unwind and prepare for whatever destination I'm going to encounter when I leave. After running about in the City of New York, this place is great to unwind. I will always book this inn as long as it remains. The INN highlights my last day before leaving the city of my birth so I can let go and leave in good spirits.. [Less]
