The arrival was not so good as it turned out that the pool was out of order and wouldn't be fixed until after the weekend, which was a huge disappointment for the two kids. When talking to the front [Espandi] desk staff later I think it was adequately handled. We were offered free breakfast on Sunday even though at that time the pool had already been fixed again so we could still use it until late check-out. Despite that I made two separate bookings we got two rooms next to eachother with an internal door and I think our room even got upgraded as it was considerably larger than the one of the kids. Comfy bed, clean room and only showering in a bathtub has never been a favorite of mine. Breakfast choice and quality was fine, but there were too many flies. Luckily the restaurant wasn't crowded so you could easily find a place where those didn't bother you. [Riduci]

Comfortable room, beautiful bathroom with high water pressure shower lovely bathtub! Riverside spa is very nice. They have two saunas, about one of the Sauna is not working. Sand timer in the sauna [Espandi] is broken and haven't been replaced. Swimming pool is very nice. Clean and very good water temperature Good breakfast choices and quality service from staff are good [Riduci]

On a recent business stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Muelhiem, I had the opportunity to spend 4 nights in the hotel. Pros: clean hotel, centrally located to public transportation (next to [Espandi] hotel), variety of restaurants within walking distance, friendly staff. Cons: Thermostat did not control the room environment, no air conditioning would turn on my entire stay, not even on a manual fan setting. I had to regulate temperature by opening and closing the window, but even with all of this it was still comfortable in the room. Breakfast selection was fair, but was missing typical scrambled eggs / omelettes, bacon, sausage, potatoes I would expect from a Holiday Inn hotel. Overall a great hotel in a great location with these minor issues. [Riduci]
