We chose Holiday Inn Express for its proximity to castles, previous positive stays, breakfast and affordability, The expression"any port in a storm " proved very true. It was miserable weather, [More] cold.dark and raining. The HEI was a pleasant relief after a long drive. The staff was welcoming, their snack selections included a variety of good sandwiches even some vegetarian. The. room was clean, the bed was comfortable, all in all, it was great. Probably the only negative was the parking garage was not connected to the hotel which meant walking in the pouring rain, the breakfast was good and had a nice variety of selections. We really enjoyed our stay here. The bed was comfy, the staff were very helpful and the breakfast was superb. The only negative would be the distance from the city, which was about a 20 minute bus [More] ride away. But the buses were regular. [Less]
