Having stayed at Holidayinn Gatwick Worth a couple of times,
I always enjoyed this hotel - one big advantage compared to others, was the quality of the food.
With the re-opening after the pandemic,[更多] the restaurant has been nicely refurbished - but the concept changed completely, Before it was Fine Dining, today it's more Bar Food (Fish & Chips, Burgers, Pasta). What a shame...
Rooms are still good - got a nice upgrade as Diamond Member and staff is extremely friendly.
Parking is a bit expensive, if you are not there because of Gatwick[更少]
Average Hotel, Clean & Comfortable Room
評分者 Jeanne B
Hotel was very clean and room comfortable. There are a few things that I would like to point out. The Hotel listing states hotel is 2.98 miles (4.79 km) from Gatwick. I took a taxi and hotel was[更多] double the distance. My room had no USB ports so I was not able to charge my cell phone. Hotel does not have a business center (computer & printer for guest use). Front desk did offer to print something out for me on their computer but I wanted to check emails and do some other work. Hotel does not have ice machines. I had to go to the bar and request a bucket of ice which was supplied to me.[更少]
Business trip combined with leisure (for my wife)
A great hotel located near to the airport. £10/day for parking is very annoying. Great breakfast and lovely food in the evening. Located next to a good leisure centre with pool. £6 to use the[更多] leisure centre is good. Friendly staff.
The hotel was having work done. A real shame it was being carried out during breakfast. This could have started at 10am, after breakfast had finished, for a more pleasant experience. I had knocking and banging right behind my head during breakfast. It made the hotel a bit cold too. Over £5 for a bottle of beer is extortionate and makes a Northerner feel sick! The vending machine didn’t work either.[更少]

The staff at the hotel are very friendly and respectful.
The evening menu is limited, but the pizza was very tasty.[更少]

Room Temp Was Freezing
Overall, the room was great and very clean and tidy.
I'm American so I'm not sure if this is normal for UK hotels, but there was no top bed sheet - just a comforter/bed spread and a sheet[更多] covering the mattress.
The room thermometer was set to its maximum temperature of 24 degrees Celsius, but it did not feel like 75 degrees Fahrenheit at all.
I asked the front desk to look into it and it appeared someone stopped by as there was a keycard left in the lightswitch box.
But after a few more nights, it was clear the heat was still not working properly and I felt the heat blowing perhaps once or twice my entire 6-night stay.
Occasionally, I would also find the thermostat had turned itself off in the morning too.[更少]
enjoyable stay - friendly and efficient staff, dinner and breakfast were both good. Room was good but set up poor as in the suite the seating area is adjacent to the wall mounted TV - not that[更多] clever!. Overall an enjoyable stay and will stay again if in the area[更少]
Very handy for Chessington
Good location, not too far from shops and restaurants, and the train station is a short walk away. Really friendly staff. Nice pool with sauna/ steam room. Breakfast was good with hot food, small[更多] cereal selection, fruit and pastries. There is a charge for parking £8 a day and the upper car park is a little tight and a lot of spaces sit on a slope so a bit awkward to park in . There was parking in the basement too though which may have been easier to use. Comfy room, nice and warm. There was a bit of noise from the hallway at night (due to noisy guests, no fault of the hotel). All in all a really enjoyable stay.[更少]
High Standard of Services Have been Maintained

This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel over about eight-months period. I found high standard of services of staff had been maintained, particularly the one (duty manager?) who checked me[更多] in.[更少]
