QUIET and restful during our stay

Overall pleasant experience, and very helpful staff. It's great they offer the free breakfast, and have a rewards customer program as well. The room was very clean, and had all the amenities as [更多] described; however perhaps due to the time it was built, the room temp was hard to regulate, and was very stuffy. As it was winter, and near the freeway, we couldn't open a window. There was, however, a fan, that we were able to turn on. I'd love to see more firm memory foam mattresses used as the ones used are ok but a bit soft for my liking. [更少]

There isn't a whole lot of bells and whistles at this location, but the rooms are clean, the check-in/out simple, and the staff is reliable for great-exceptional service. we saw a lot of otters (even a mom and pup) off our balcony. truly priceless! the front desk was very nice. we often stay at very nice hotels, but we are not fancy people. the clement treated us well [更多] even though we don't appear wealthy/fancy. i definitely recommend this hotel over the monterey plaza. the location is better, and it's less stuffy. also, the oceanfront view is better, as you are literally over the ocean at the clement. at the plaza, you are over the restaurant which faces the ocean. i would highly recommend the one bedroom suite that has two bathrooms. the extra bathroom is well worth it for a family of four. the balcony is also well worth it, as seeing otters is so worth it. we've stayed in a lot of very expensive hotels, and this is one of our favorites! We love staying at the Intercontinental we paid for the suite. It was amazing views to balconies two fireplaces two bathrooms. The only thing that we wish there was a microwave since we have a one [更多] year old and we need to warm up formula. We weren’t able to do that because there was no microwave so we had to boil water.
