If you’re visiting for tourism purposes, staying in the Polanco district, Zona Rosa, or downtown Centro keeps you close to nightlife and culture as well as museums and other attractions. Alternatively, you can combine convenience and comfort by choosing a hotel near the Mexico City International Airport, which also keeps you close to locales like Zócalo Plaza, the Palace of Fine Arts, the Palacio de los Deportes, the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez racetrack, Museo del Templo Mayor, and the Foro Sol.

How to Get to Mexico City

Most people travel to Mexico City by airplane, gliding in at the Benito Juárez International Airport (also known as the Mexico City International Airport). Once you’ve landed, the subway is easy to take from both terminals of the airport. Other options include the Metro bus and secure taxis—be sure to research taxi companies before taking any taxi. The safest options include Turismo and sitio taxis. Mexico City also offers “women and children only” city buses. Renting a car is not recommended due to concerns of theft and high cost. Similar to New York City’s boroughs, Mexico City features 16 delegaciones that are divided into neighborhoods. Knowing which neighborhood your destination is can be helpful when navigating your way around the city.

It is a good place to stay in Santa Fe area with lots of good options of fine restaurants. It is a shame I didn't have chances to try the restaurant in the hotel which I saw from the comments are [More] pretty good. The hotel mainly serves business travels and the room is spacious and cozy though not fancy. I was in town for sightseeing so Santa Fe isn't really a ideal location for that.
