Featured Glasgow Hotels

Get to know the city like a true Scotsman when you stay at one of our Glasgow hotels near the city center, theatre district, or airport.
Glasgow is Scotland’s largest city, and one of the largest in the U.K. Its bustling metropolitan center is located on the River Clyde and is an important seaport.
From an early Christian site of the 6th century to a wealthy and influential bishopric, Glaswegians saw their city grow in prestige and power through its international trade of commodities like linen. Sparked by the Scottish Enlightenment and the Industrial Revolution, Glasgow’s fortunes exploded on the world scene, with active trade in almost every sector and a vibrant shipbuilding economy. Today, the city combines up-to-the-moment culture with stately architecture and a true sense of fun.
The modern shape of the Clyde Arc Bridge is unmistakable in Glasgow’s skyline, while the City Chambers building dominates its own section of the city with Victorian stateliness. Medieval Glasgow Cathedral and Merchant City provide excellent destinations for sightseeing and entertainment. The Merchant City rewards pedestrians with countless pubs and restaurants, and its central location near the riverside and Glasgow Green means that you can continue to enjoy Glasgow’s unique sites after your break.
It’s easy to get to know Glasgow’s range of museums and cultural opportunities - nearly all of them are free! The Riverside Museum makes the most of its picturesque location on the river to showcase a collection relating to transportation, while the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum exhibits everything from artistic
masters to suits of armor. Taste the local whiskey at Glengoyne before donning your party clothes for an evening out at the Scottish Ballet or National Theatre.
Glasgow makes a serious rival for London in terms of the breadth and uniqueness of its retail. Packed with independent record stores and the Style Mile area directly in the town center, every quirky and up-to-the-minute trend is available for those in the know. Buchanan Street has all the large brands you could wish for, while remaining pedestrian-friendly, and the unique Argyll Arcade attracts with its window displays of precious jewelry and diamonds. Truly all shoppers can find something to cherish in Glasgow.
Glasgow is a wonderful destination for golfers, as its famed Loch Lomond and Gleneagles courses can attest. The city is also home to powerhouse soccer teams, as well as a devoted rugby tradition. Catching a match guarantees that you’ll feel like a local for the day.
With frequent trains to London and other U.K. destinations, as well as its international airport and efficient urban transportation system, Glasgow is an easy city to navigate.
Get to know the depth of Scotland’s past when you stay in one of our Glasgow hotels. We put our guests first, and after experiencing our hospitality, comfort, and value, you’ll be prepared to book your return visit to Glasgow in no time.

Comfortable and convenient
By Peter
There is a very good quality and variety for breakfast. Whilst the the public areas are clean and fairly comfortable, we missed the luxury of the large soft sofas that used to be in the bar lounge. [Less]
Good service, decent stay

Staying for business, great location to go out into Glasgow and relax. Bed was very comfy, service from staff was great. Enjoyed the breakfast. Liked the decor of the room. [Less]
Friendly staff, great location
By DezAU89
I mostly enjoyed my stay at Holiday Inn Theatreland. The staff were quite helpful and cheerful in both the reception and restaurant. Unfortunately, I had a street side room, it was very loud and the [More] shrill of police sirens woke me up from my sleep most nights. There was also a lot of internal pipe noise (i'm assuming). The bed was comfortable and the room was quaint, modern and cozy. [Less]

Comfortable bed and friendly service.
By JCarling
Great location on the Clyde with an easy walk in to the city centre. We stayed for 2 nights and found the rooms to be very comfortable and well decorated. The staff were friendly and warm. We had [More] breakfast on both mornings and the buffet had a wide choice and was well cooked. The bar area was great for lunch and for late night drinks with a nice buzzy atmosphere. Very good value for money and we would definitely stay here again. [Less]
Handy for city highlights
By Lesley
Staff were very welcoming but also a bit robotic. They made all the right noises but could be a bit snooty with it. Breakfast was beautifully cooked but with no obvious notices as to what the items [More] were. e.g. two types of sausages, but what were they made of? Pork or beef? Was the haggis vegetarian? Whatever it was, it was very dry - not a good haggis for our overseas visitors to try. Bar area was very noisy. We had guests to visit but there was no where quiet to sit. Normally we would retire to our room but not possible with guests. Overall a good stay and we will return and recommend. [Less]
