Featured Leeds Hotels

Enjoy the pedestrian ease of the graceful city center, as well as quick access to transportation options and the Royal Armouries convention center, when you select one of our Leeds hotels.
The dominant city of West Yorkshire in the north of England, Leeds began as an agricultural and market town in the forested valley surrounding the River Aire. Over time, its production of wool and flax increased, and as the commerce of the Industrial Revolution took off, Leeds grew in tandem, absorbing smaller villages to become the sophisticated metropolitan city it is today.
Monuments to Leeds’ 19th century wealth stand proudly in the Morley Town Hall and rounded Corn Exchange building. Centuries older, the exquisite ruins of Kirkstall Abbey have inspired many artists to take out their sketchbooks, and will likely inspire you to do the same. Leeds city centre is dominated by historic church spires, such as Leeds Minster and St. George’s Church.
Learn more about the colorful history of Leeds at the Leeds City Museum or check out the airy steel and glass Royal Armouries Museum. Indulge in Yorkshire culture with an evening out at a show put on by Opera North or the Northern Ballet Theatre. Leeds’ large student population also makes for a bumping nightlife scene near Millennium Square and the large Leeds Music Festival.
Leeds is a shoppers’ dream with its multiple attractive retail areas. The Merrion Centre and Trinity Leeds provide large indoor complexes replete with dining and entertainment options, while a good old-fashioned amble on Briggate Street
brings many big brands directly to you. The arcades of the Victoria Quarter showcase luxury shops in a lavish setting. At the unique Bird’s Yard, peruse homemade crafts and vintage apparel, or take a load off in the inviting and homey tea room.
Make the connection to your next destination easily with Leeds’ direct train lines to major U.K. cities, the Leeds Bradford International airport, and the Manchester Airport.
With high-quality service and amenities at reasonable prices, you’ll combine comfort and convenience when you stay at one of our Leeds hotels. Get to know distinctive Yorkshire in style and comfort, without breaking the bank.

A relaxing experience
By AngliaRover56
This is a high quality Holiday Inn based on our experience of several others and we will always consider this hotel for a stay in York. We appreciated the complimentary upgrade to an executive room. [More] The service at breakfast was very good as was the food; the bacon was crispy [Less]
Great Service
By Murdo
I booked this hotel for a long weekend to visit the sights and to meet an old friend. From our arrival we were met with friendly helpful staff. Our rooms were superb, light, clean and [More] comfortable. Breakfast, was delicious, food was hot and in abundance. I would like to say thank you to a young gentleman who was working the breakfast area, sorry didn't get his name but he was always smiling and was attentive. I would also like to thank Hannah on front desk during the late shift. Hannah was very helpful, friendly, booking our transport, attending to any of our requests with a smile. These things all added to making our stay at The Holiday Inn York a happy one. Thank you! [Less]
Great hotel with great service.
By Wilts1964
This felt like a great hotel from the moment I checked in. The receptionist was efficient, pleasant and keen to help. The room was spacious and comfortable and little things like chocolates and a [More] paper in the room adds a really nice touch. I ate in the dining room and the food choice was good. Again, great attentive restaurant and bar staff. This is a pleasant, well run hotel. Handy for the M1 too! [Less]

Spotlessly clean but uncomfortable beds
By Traveller57
We arrived at this hotel about 12 hours after we planned because our flight to Leeds Bradford Airport aborted its landing at the last minute and diverted to Liverpool. High winds blowing across the [More] runway became so strong they were outside the operating parameters of the aircraft. The night staff at hie in Wakefield were good enough to check us in even though we spent the first night at another hotel beside Liverpool Airport and our room was ready when we arrived after an early morning journey across northern England by train. We had booked a double room but were supplied with a triple containing three single beds. We thought about asking for a change but were very tired. The purpose of our trip was to visit my mother in law in hospital so we had a short rest and went on our way. When we returned late in the evening and went to bed we found the mattresses to be uncomfortable. We checked out but as circumstances at the hospital had changed we decided to stay an extra night so checked in again. On this occasion we were supplied with a double room as requested but once again we found the mattress uncomfortable. Both rooms, however, were spotlessly clean and definitely a credit to the housekeeping staff. The quality of both shower rooms was also impressive. Breakfast was the usual selection at Holiday Inn Express of sausages, scrambled eggs and a choice of continental items ranging from yoghurt to pain au chocolat. The staff were helpful and pleasant but we really would have to think again before staying at this hotel because of the mattresses which is a pity because it has a great deal going for it in other ways.
