Things to See

Anaheim is most famous for housing the original Disneyland, which opened in 1955, as well as California Adventure—a Disneyland addition that opened about 15 years ago. However, there are many other interesting activities in Anaheim to pique your interest outside of those created by Disney and other big names. Catch some Anaheim Ducks hockey (their training facility is open for public skating sessions daily!) or a LA Angels baseball game to get your sports fix, or visit Anaheim Garden Walk for shopping, movies, bowling, and dining. Anaheim’s historic district has been recently renovated to now include the Packing House, unique restaurants, shops, and a farmer’s market. To get out of the city a bit, check out the neighboring cities of Los Angeles, Palm Springs, and San Diego by train or car, or Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, boasting roller coasters and a waterpark.

Hotels in Anaheim

Whether you’re staying in directly in Anaheim or neighboring cities like Fullerton, Garden Grove, or Buena Park, IHG has cozy hotels to keep you close to your main destinations. Our hotels offer convenient amenities for your vacation, from free Wi-Fi to fully-equipped kitchens.

Where to Stay

Staying in the Anaheim Resort District keeps you close to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure as well as the Anaheim Convention Center. This area also keeps you in short driving distance from Newport, Huntington, and Laguna Beaches as well as Universal Studios Hollywood, SeaWorld, LEGOLAND, San Diego Zoo, and Six Flags Magic Mountain. For business trips, you may consider staying in the aforementioned cities surrounding Anaheim to avoid resort crowds.

How to Get to Anaheim

If flying to Anaheim, you’ll arrive at either John Wayne Airport at Santa Ana (SNA), Long Beach Airport (LGB), or the larger Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). If you don’t opt for taking a shuttle or train to your destination from the airport, travelling by car from the airport to your hotel can take between 20 minutes and an hour. Once you’re in the city, Anaheim Resort Transportation can bring you to many popular tourist destinations via shuttle, while Orange County Transit Authority offers bus service within the city and surrounding areas. Anaheim is known as a very safe place regularly patrolled by police.

Outstanding Customer Service
This was my third stay at this location and I have to say each time I have received amazing customer service. The staff is always welcoming, smiling and go above and beyond to assist in making your [More] stay more comfortable. The rooms have been very clean and well maintained. Any housekeeping request (extra floor mats) was addressed immediately. Having to be away from home for extended periods of time is hard enough. Having some of the basic essentials handled for you (with a smile) always makes it a little easier. I highly recommend this location whether you are traveling for business or pleasure. Regards, G. Good stay
By Ragav
The bed was good. The rooms were clean. Kitchen had all the utensils needed for cooking. However it would have been much better if the rooms had king size bed. And I did ask for a room with a pool [More] side view. Hotel staff did not give me one. [Less]
Short Vacation Stay - Oct 2016
By WrldLee96
The Torrance/Redondo Suites was a nice family stay. The front desk was pleasant but could have used an extra hand at the counter. Front desk was nice to inform the parking lot security allow us to [More] park in the 15 min zone because all the parking slots were filled. Kitchen was functional for a family of four. My only problem was not being able to use the pool during its open hours even though it indicated that it closes at 10 PM after a long day of driving. You can still hear a bit of the traffic noise along the main road, but reality was, I was ultimately too tired to let that bother me. Overall, a reasonably priced/value stay for a family of 4. [Less]

Hotel Indigo
By Diane11223344
this hotel is conveniently located by Disneyland and we had no problem walking right into the park from there. The room was spacious with plenty of space to store our belongings. The staff could [More] not have been any friendlier or accommodating. When we arrived too early for our room to be ready, they gave us the internet passcode, let us sit in the alcove and gave us bottles of water. I would definitely stay at Hotel Indigo again based on this stay there! [Less]
Great Disneyland Getaway Hotel
Loved the location. Easy walk to park and convenient dining all around. Room was very nice and quiet. Gated parking ensured car was well protected and the staff was ok leaving the car there after [More] checkout while at the park. [Less]
Stayed for Disneyland
By mrq016
Perfect location for walking to Disney. Hotel is very nice as are the rooms. Bathrooms are above average. Stayed at another much more expensive hotel right after checking out of this one because we [More] had to travel to a different area and this hotel was much nicer in every aspect. The hotel rooms are cool and updated, hallways do not feel small like other hotels so walking around the hotel is nice as well. This area is perfect for doing disney as well as other attraction in the area. Mall and food are also very close if you want to eat something other than restaurants in the park. [Less]
