There were two issues that arose.
First, I had personnaly made arrangements with the front desk the day before I was to leave 9as instructed) for a late checkout. As a Platinum member it's my
understanding that late checkout is a benfit afforded members and the staff at the front desk seemed happy to oblige. The intent was to freshen up and get some rest before a red-eye flight back east. Well, the new front desk staff challenged that I had arranged for late checkout, challenged the agreed to time for late checkout and literally threatened me with additional charges. A little after getting back to the room the cleaning staff knocked on the door, even though there was a "Do Not Disturb Tag" posted, inquiring about whether or not there was late checkout. Needless to say the whole episode was agitating and disturbing - no rest either.
To compound the issues the hotel didn't post my membership points and thus I had to file a claim to get them restored. [Less]
