We stayed here 1 night on our way to Sonoma for 2 nights in a suite at the Sonoma Fairmont Mission Inn. Both my wife and I actually prefered the Holiday Inn to the $500 a night Fairmont.
is an athlete and very particular about what she eats, so she pretty much refuses to go to restaurants. Our first stop when traveling is always to a grocery store so, having a refrigerator and a microwave in the room is key. In addition to that there were plates and silverware, actually more like a kitchenette.
We were upgraded to an ocean view room with a very nice view of the beach.
When we went to the lobby in the evening my wife was looking at the fridge in the dining area. The front desk person came over and she thought he was going to tell her it was only for breakfast. Instead he was coming over to tell her to help herself to anything there. Milk, yogurt, fruit, coffee, tea and cookies.
I was also impressed with the breakfast layout. Bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs and other stuff.
We had never been to Pacifica before, but it is a very cool little town with a nice bike / running path along the beach.
The hotel grounds were pretty tore up because they are doing some remodeling, but that didn't bother us. It was very evident that they are putting a lot of effort into making this place even nicer. [Less]
