The curb appeal for this hotel is wonderful. The location is in the plaza area with great proximity to dining and shopping. The lobby area is very open and the hotel staff were friendly and almost [More] comical. The hotel hosted my friend's wedding party, provided access to the boardroom, and a great rate. I have no major complaints about the hotel. The rooms were standard and clean. The breakfast buffet was exceptional with a wide array of options. It was hard to not go back for thirds and the wait staff was attentive. The hallways are a little dark and tight but who spends their time in the hallway. We love this HIX because of its location, 10 miles from Legend's. We have stayed here before but I will be honest that this time the place is beginning to show some wear and tear. The room was [More] clean, but we did have some issues this go around. Toilet needed the bolts tightened so it wasn't wobbly when you sat down, Shower didn't drain very fast, so you stand in water when showering, bed wasn't as firm as before, really breaking down and lastly the ac was annoyingly loud but it did keep the room cool. Positives, the internet was sufficient and breakfast had more variety than many of the HIX's we have stayed at lately. Overall, I would stay here again. [Less]
