Featured Boston Hotels

Old-world charm meets modern energy in Boston, Massachusetts’ capital and largest city. Here in one of America’s most historic cities you’ll find attractions of all sorts, from sites along the Freedom Trail to the excitement of Fenway Park. With IHG’s wide-ranging Boston hotel options, you can choose the perfect place to begin exploring all the city has to offer, whether that’s the city center or the quiet pockets of Boston's outlying neighborhoods..

Things to See

Begin with a walk along Boston’s 2.5-mile Freedom Trail, which winds through the city and marks 16 key historic sites, including The Paul Revere House, Bunker Hill Monument, and King's Chapel Burying Ground. Pivot from the past to the present with a stop at the cutting-edge Institute of Contemporary Art, located on the Boston waterfront in the city’s buzzing Fort Point Channel neighborhood. Or, on the other side of town on Boston’s lush and scenic Fens parkway, you can see for yourself why the Museum of Fine Arts’ enormous and diverse collection is one of America's most impressive. Even non-sports-enthusiasts are known to find themselves cheering on the Red Sox at Fenway Park, the oldest Major League Baseball stadium in the U.S. And if you need a moment to catch your breath, you can always paddle a swan boat on the pond in the Boston Public Garden.

Hotels in Boston

IHG’s highly acclaimed Boston hotels appeal to a wide range of travelers and visitors. With enhanced guest experiences, and new or renovated amenities that include great restaurants, bars, spas, fitness centers and more, our hotels remain remarkable as new hotels, major brands as well as boutique hotels and hostels, arrive every year.

Where to Stay

Downtown Boston is the perfect choice for travelers who want a hotel in Boston that’s located in the middle of the action. The area’s many highlights are located within walking distance of most hotels, from historic Beacon Hill with its variety of antique shops to upscale Back Bay with its many shops and restaurants. And the Fenway neighborhood is definitely ideal if your Boston visit was motivated by the city’s great sports history and culture.

How to Get to Boston

Boston Logan International Airport, located 10 minutes from the city center by ground transportation, serves travelers from across the United States and the world. Free Massport shuttles ferry passengers between airport terminals and the airport station, where they can catch the T, Boston’s subway, into the downtown area or its surrounding neighborhoods. While public transport is the most economical option, you may also prefer to catch a cab from the airport to their hotel.

Rental cars are readily available throughout Boston, yet taking on the narrow, one-way streets can be a daunting proposition for visiting guests, not to mention the high price of parking. You might find it easier and more convenient to stay close to the city’s center and navigate the area by foot. You’ll find taxi stands throughout the city, particularly outside large hotels. The T, Boston’s subway, train and trolley system, is also a great resource if you plan to stay or travel outside the downtown area.

The best hotel and matching customer service.
By KDGRI
I have to say, the customer service here is outstanding. This particular night the front desk clerk David was on hand, and there was a issue with my room type being changed by others at the last [More] minute. David was VERY accomodating and apologetic and assured me that the hotel staff and management would make things right and they did! This is not some hole in the wall, it is what you would expect and then some from a Crowne Plaza Hotel. Between David and Zena at the front desk, one could not be left in better hands when visiting this hotel. I would highly recommend because of the staff first and foremost and secondly that the hotel is very clean, modern, has all the amenities one would want and it is centrally located. Do yourself a favor... try it ... you won't regret it! I never do. [Less]

Great Staff
By Reddog
Nothing beats a sense of humor to make an experience pleasantly memorable. The desk and cleaning staff are the face of the Inn and can make or break a visit to any establishment 1 star to 5 star. So [More] trust me when I say that the five star treatment we received at the Peabody, MA, Holiday Inn made us feel like welcomed and valued guests to their hotel! The rooms are used, but that means the staff are doing well to attract lot's of guests to make them used LOL. Our only complaint was the lack of room fridge. You can understand why, however. I know personally many who would leave the unit full of half-eaten spoiled food and the contents of such spilled over on the inside of the refrigerator. The cleaning staff would be the ones forced to clean up after these so called adults. The restaurant adjacent to the hotel is fantastic. great food, excellent service, nice interior; love the red bricks. location location location! easy access to and from the highways, and a nice drive to downtown Salem. I will upload some photos later or after my next visit. The value was scored 3/5 but then when I completed the survey the question was early in the review; after thinking about our visit and the fact that we are staying here in September 2017 I would bump it up to at least 4/5; the staff put it at 4.99999999/5. Great location

We have stayed at many other intercontinental hotels. Although the Boston intercontinental had a great location and was very clean and comfortable the room was not nearly as nice as the other [More] locations we had visited. [Less]
